  5. I agree with the other Pa. guys, find one that has a title and registerered. As I found out the hard way ,getting mine to go thru DOT was a pain in the ass. And it took a call from my Congressman, to get the ball rolling!!!! And it is harder now than in 02. Good Luck !! Steve Novelli:ack:
  6. Bob, I would be proud to have a good looking power plant like the one you have. Let the world see it, and it will help with the cooling. Does the hood even fit ?? Steve Novelli
  7. Al, Thanks , I have my dates screwed up. Steve:banghead:
  8. Hi Al, I will attend on May 18, and would like to hook up on the road with anyone for the drive out. Sunday, the 19th, is my 50th:ack: So this will be a great way for me to enjoy it. Steve Novelli, Superformance S1 # 47 :7drive:
  9. My first car was a Fiat 850 Spyder, I told my grandfather I wanted a " Sports Car ", and he found this rusty car that should have gone to the Junk Yard. But it came to my Dad's garage instead, and I learned about Bondo, welding, engine rebuilding, painting. It took me 2 years to get it running and driving. I had it on the road for 6 weeks, and then my friends Mom ran into it ,and crushed the rusty front end. But I drove it home, and my Mom and I cryed over it's bad luck !!! Oh to be 16 again, not going on 50 !!! I like that orange S1, looks like mine !!!!:yesnod: Steve
  10. Nice Mazda, 64 outside, this will be me shortly :7fume:
  11. EburgE, Nice web site, It's nice to watch a build. I have your torque wrench, but I don't have a 41 mm socket. Priced a 3/4 drive 41mm at 12 bucks, if you need it once, you'll need it again. Whats it for ??? I can meet you on I95 exit when you need it. Steve

I use Royal Purple in my Zetec , it cost more than Mobil 1, but I don't know if it's any better. In the type 9 I use redline mtl, only because someone gave it to me. Oil filter, Purolator # l25230, because it's short, and I can't find the short FRAM ????? Hydrauics, Castrol Gt, and change it every spring, this past time I changed the Wilwood pads to a softer pad, and this advice came from another S1 owner, and made the car stop 75% better, but took some work on the balance bar to get the rears to stop locking up under HEAVY braking, they are great now ! In the rear, I used Castrol, and anti-slip, I would like to do an upgrade to the rear as I think that may be the weak link in the driveline, so far so good. Steve
  13. I sent a email to Donkervoort Cars in the Netherlands a few years ago, and asked if they imported their cars to the States. They said no and have no plans to. I think they are AWESOME cars. My wife saw one in Denmark and said I would love the way they sound. I guess that means loud. I do know they are expensive. Steve
  14. Because I am aways up for a good meal, and I would like to meet the 7 guys in the Beltway area. I did the MapQuest thing from my house in Ambler Pa. to the Vienna Inn. 3 hours and 163.74 miles . Sorry Mazda !!! Happy New Year, Steve Novelli
  15. :iagree: I have been reading your posts over the last few weeks and have been saying to myself. This Buyer has been a "Gentlemen "in dealing with this Seller. I can only hope that you get your money back, and send up the RED flag that this seller is an asshole for the next person that may want his car !!! Please don't let this ruin you enjoyment of getting a 7 !!

I just wish I had half the talent that the number deserves !!!! Another Museum that I can put on my " Go To" list, First is Donnington ! And I if I remain a good boy :blueangel: that will happen this summer.
  19. Peter, I am trying to find the Gilles Villeneuve Museum web-site , an I am not having any luck. Can you help me out. I would like to add a new shirt to the closet. 21. Arya, Being 6' 4" and 235 , I feel for you . I been cramming myself in cars all my life. :banghead: But it's worth it !!!!
  22. Arya, My 16 year old son and I are reviewing what you are doing. He is a BIG fan of the seven type car, he and I have been on some good blasts in our 7, with it's Zetec. Now he has seen one with a V8, and it has him thinking what your uncles must be like. As I dropped him of for work tonight, he said " Can I get him a ride in that thing"? Keep the photo's and details of what you are doing posted, WE LIKE THEM Good Work !!!!! Steve Novelli

  24. JBH, Let me ask you, " How do you know about rebuilt Porsches". I would like to hear the story if it's not to painful for you and maybe me too !!!!!
  25. JBH, Thanks for giving me that Web Site. Your reply is what I have be told by others that I have spoken to.But It's good to hear the same kind of thing about the early cars and also the latter. And I will take you up on your offer to help me get a good one. The big ? I get asked is how much do I plan on spending. I would like to spend $20.000 tops, and I've been told I can find a nice street car for that kind of money. The Condor green S I saw is the dream, but I can put a Duck tail on any 911 I guess. I let you know when I find one that I like and you can give me your take on it. Thanks again, Steve
