  1. Loved the video! Thanks. Sure wish there was roads like that here. Scott

    Good Story

    Great storys!
  3. Some GM execs probably don't like this. http://www.libertyjuice.com/2012/02/27/chevy-volt-parody-commercial/
  4. Who would have guessed it! GW Bush did more for the poor than Obama! Thanks for sharing the video..
  5. I am pretty sure that the remarks were not directed to those who were hard working citizens down on their luck. To denie that the current administration is strongly supported by a large population of second, third or more generations of Food stamp grabbing Americans is simply putting your head in the sand. Again, I can't speak for BusaNostra.. but I am betting he is speaking from the same frustration I am. BTW, if you have a clip of any of the Repubican candidates giving a speech specifically naming and targeting 'White America', at the exclusion of other races in this great country, please post it. I won't vote for them either.
  6. Anyone going to bring their Se7en? Come have fun and kill a few cones! http://www.scca.com/solo/content.cfm?cid=44511&tag=60 :driving:
  7. loved the video! I wish we had roads like that in Florida. I can relate to the 'I don't care' who wins....I would rather be driving my Se7en or fishing than be parked in front of a TV! Scott
  8. We get around 8.5 to 9 mpg towing the 24' trailer with our 5.7 Tundra, keeping the speed 60 to 65. And the Stalker fits in fine, even with all the 'stuff' up front! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/snookwheel/P1040547.jpg One feature to consider for any enclosed trailer, is an awning. A wonderful thing to have for extra room out of the sun or rain.
  9. I would really consider the 24 Pace, more trailer than you need, but you can really outfit them out for comfort with the rest of the room. We have a 24' Pace and it has a generator, shower, cabinets, sink, microwave, fridge and TV in the front. Makes for a nice place to hang out when not running or to even spend the night in on occasion. Plus keeps the Admiral happy on hot or rainy days. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v640/snookwheel/?action=view&current=P1030493.jpg&mediafilter=noflash
  10. jimrankin: "I've owned cars with well under 100HP and cars with way over 400HP, and no matter how many you have you will always push the pedal to the metal one day and say "I wish I had more". That is a very true statement! Danilo, I'm not sure I can agree that inept driving is fixed with more power;)
  11. It will be interesting to see what you gain with the changes you make.
  12. Good time! Had to replace the mesh for the nose cone due to my wife force feeding some cone to it... But had a blast! No FTD this time, a LeGrand Dragon beat me. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US#/watch?feature=mhee&v=BqTXBj0CSzE Scott
  13. Thanks! I hope so.. really a great group of folks, they build some big HP into their rides. We do a lot of autocross events, but it was a fun change to have a wide open, just grit your teeth and go for it event. My VSS signal for the speedometer is not working right, so I am not sure how fast I was going, but I was deep into 4th gear! Scott
  14. The Tampa Bay Corvette Club holds a Test and Tune about once a month at a local airport. Usually a pretty open ( read HP) course that really lets you stretch your legs more than a normal AutoX. Our Brunton Super Stalker took FTD over a field of Corvettes, Mustangs etc. Video: Launching in second gear.[/url] A good day! Scott
  15. I can vouch for cheap... replaced the front calipers on my Super Stalker at a cost of $9.50 per side! Then went out and took my class and FTD at an CFR SCCA Autocross:cheers: The bottom line is, just get a Se7en! Climb in a few, find out what fits, works for you and join the club. They are impractical, sometimes uncomfortable, kinda loud and will probably be the most fun you will ever have behind the wheel. The search is 1/2 the fun, good luck. Scott
  16. That sounds like a great time, the issues you had just add to the adventure! I would love to take a trip like that. beautiful country, Thanks for posting it. Scott
  17. You might want to consider a Brunton kit http://www.bruntonauto.com/ roomy by se7en standards and gobs of power! I Autocross one on a regular basis and it does extremely well! Low cost parts and very low maintenance.
  18. A GoPro camera to record our runs!
  19. Merry Christmas to you and your families! Scott
  20. Very cool.
  21. My Super Stalker sounds about like your car as far as weight and HP. I use Goodyear R160 22" x 10 x 13 in the rear and 20 x 9.5 x 13 in front. We have only autocrossed on them, but have been very happy with the grip and amount of runs we get on them. With two people driving the car, we put a lot of runs in.
  22. Stunning! My all time favorite car.
  23. Where did you order that from?? Very cool! Scott
  24. Love it! That is dedication to living the Se7en way of life! Brilliant!
