We went to a local AutoX Saturday and had a blast, in spite of the winter like 50-65 degree weather;). Video of Stalker run: And a spin  It's an Airport site, long and fairly narrow, so lots of offsets and slaloms etc.. I love this stuff. Scott

S7 Grille emblems made and shipped from USA
snookwheel replied to 4MARIO's topic in Parts For Sale / Wanted
I mounted the emblem I got from you at the car show, I went with a stealth look. The bright aluminum against an all black car didnt have the look I was trying for, a little rattle can job did what I wanted. Nice quality, Thanks! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/snookwheel/image-20.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/snookwheel/image-22.jpg -
Got two! One for me and one for my co-driver wife!

I don't know how many of you are on the west central Florida coast, but there are around 4 or 5 Stalkers heading to this event tomorrow: http://events.ticketsarasota.com/venice_fl/events/show/294743025-44th-annual-devereaux-kaiser-antique-car-show No entry fee, just a lot cars. Should be a good time! It would be good to meet some local 7'ers. Scott

Fantastic! My Seven (and me!) are envious. Building a nice, work friendly garage is on my bucket list. Well done.

We are GUARATEED good luck for 2013! As we headed out to Three Rooker (a small island off the coast) to spend New Year eve. and day, a few dolphins started playing in our bow wake. Old Sailor folklore is that dolphins in your bow wake= good luck.... must be true! Happy New Years, may you and your families have a healthy and happy 2013. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/snookwheel/image-17_zps8bc3e172.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/snookwheel/image-17_zps95dd2dee.jpg

Any other Brunton M-Spec builders here?
snookwheel replied to subtlez28's topic in General Sevens Discussion
I stopped by the Brunton shop just yesterday, they have some very cool projects underway. Good luck with the build, post pictures! An Mspec is in my future..... Someday. We have a Super Stalker 3.8 SC and have a ball with it. Scott -
Very nice! That is one fast ride. Scott

I stopped by the Brunton shop today and was offered a chance to take an Mspec for a ride. Wow, what a ride, I have the original Classic Stalker Supercharged version and the diffence was pretty apparent.. beyond the obvious increase in power from the Mspec L33 V8. It really is the next generation. We ran through some pretty crappy streets in St. Pete and the rough roads, manhole covers and brick road areas were handled vey well by the IRS. While the live axle I have works very well, the IRS really made quite a noticable difference. The steering is extremely precise with good feedback and the power brakes were pretty amazing, I am going to add that feature to our Stalker. I wouldnt have believed that power brakes would be that much of a difference on such a light car, but it was. We took it out to Highway 275, on the entrance ramp I tested the skinny peddle and was at triple digits very quickly... yes, I slowed to 65 before entering. The thing that really struck me cruising at speed was the huge reduction in buffeting. I could easily carry on a conversation while at speed. The car is really a big step up in refinement while leaving the ability to have the 'hanging on the edge' feeling when you want it. I want one. Hopefully I will get a chance to test it again at an autocross in October..... I'll be gunning for you, Glen Scott and Krista! I am interested to see how it feels when thrown around a buncha cones! I recommend anyone who gets the chance, jump behind the wheel and give an Mspec a test drive. Love that V8 sound! Nice work Scott! Thanks for the thrill. but no thanks for making me want one..... I love our Classic, but when I can upgrade, an Mspec will be in our garage. Scott W

I have that same heater in my SuperStalker, it works very well! Of course with an open cockpit, the legs to jewels area are the only part kept warm at speed. Our vents come out through the firewall below the dash. Beautiful build! Something to be proud of! Scott

The best part is that with either, if you need a part you can go to Napa or Advanced Autoarts etc.. and pick up most of the parts you may need, for the Stalkers. I see you are in Auburndale, I'm in the Tampa area, if you ever get over here and want to check a classic Stalker out and go for a ride, let me know, I would be happy to share the fun. My wife and I autocross ours quite a bit. Scott

I don't think you could call it a Classic Stalker. It would be an Mspec which has all the new technolgy but with a traditional (Classic) seven look. It is an Mspec, just a different body style. They do still sell the original Classic Stalker.
