1. You are right, this thread really wasn't one of the bad ones. There have been 'for sale' threads where a sellers price / type of build was the target, I should have posted there. Why try to trash a guys sale? The market will set the price. Want to give advice to the seller? PM them. BTW, I have no issue with debate, critique, opinion etc.. On almost any topic, that's part of the fun of forums! But trashing a members 'for sale' ad is really not called for.
2. Congrats on the sale! Gotta go with Trough Doctor's comment too. This is a pretty small group of folks with common interest, seems only a few folks feel the need to post negative comments re price or whatever publicly on the forum.. If someone really wanted to offer pricing advice or anything else for the seller, they do have the option to PM them. Of course they won't get the thrill of seeing their sage advice on display for all to see
3. I have a SuperStalker! but I am in the Tampa Bay area. I would be happy to take you for a spin if you can get over here. They are amazing rides! Scott
4. Hi Jack, our season is still going on, next weekend is a two day event in Orlando and next. Month is the State Championships. With both of us driving, we do go through some tires... I just but scrubs from JB Race tires to keep the costs down.
5. We had a great time Sunday. My wife and I took 1st and 2nd in Emod, and 1st and 2nd overall. She is getting real fast, she was less than a second behind me! A couple of Stalker vids.. Mary's best run: Scott's: Scott
6. Very nice!
7. John, if it isn't too much trouble, could you post a couple pictures of the clamp you use to hold the wiper motor to your frame? Scott
8. Dang John.... I just showed your video to my SuperStalker and now it won't come out of the garage!
9. I like the idea of His and Hers Sevens! Can you sell her the idea?
10. Speaking for the owner... Yes, it is! I have seen the trailer and it is in 'like new' condition.
11. Looks like a lot of fun for a good price!
12. The Stalker was in the garage Saturday, but my butt was at the helm of an Allison with a 2.5 ltr Merc (been worked a 'bit). I hit triple digits on a few runs! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/snookwheel/ScottdrivingtheAllison.jpg Sunday was an SCCA AutoX where my wife and i ran our Super Stalker. We took 1st and 2nd in E-mod (OK, so there were only 3 E mods). We took 1st and third overall of the 'cars'. I got 5th in PAX. Well... an F500 and shifter Cart beat us, but those can't drive out for ice cream afterwards.... Love seeing Mary smoke some of the local Hot-Foot's with the stalker! Mary's best: (watch her reaction at the end!) My best: Overall, a real nice weekend! Scott
13. That must have been a blast! I wish we had roads like that in Florida, I'd love to give our Stalker a little wringing out on that kind of stretch. I bet the bikes were surprised.
14. I am posting this for a friend of mine who sold his Stalker and no longer needs the trailer. Built by Brunton, tilt bed, electric brakes, spare tire, hitching post for garage. Trailer is 18ft. 8in. overall length, you can store car on trailer in garage and back off when wanting to use car without wasting a garage space. This trailer was built by Brunton Stalker about 10 months ago and has less than miles on it! It has always been stored in the garage. Take a moment to check out the unique set up. http://www.bruntonauto.com/trailers/trailers.htm Paid over $3,500, asking $2,000 This trailer is like NEW! 15. I stopped by the new shop last week and saw that beast. What a beautiful build!!! K Scott
16. The engine was built in Orlando... maybe it is in Florida! I MUST find out where those roads are if it is:drool:
17. Congratulations!! Looks like a great deal. Scott
18. love some Stalker wrenching:\ http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/snookwheel/StalkerCoilover.jpg GAZ
19. You win!:hurray:
20. I did take the picture out of my car when we were on the way home. What a fun ride. I have almost zero Mata experience, and when I got in it and floored it...... I thought to myself 'there must be something wrong!'..... but no, that is just how they run. I am so used to having my ears pinned back when the Stalker is floored. But now that I am getting some seat time, I find it to be an absolute blast to drive!
21. They are the standard rims. Just some wierd illusion that happened when taking the picture, I'm not sure why it came out like that.
22. I just bought my wife a 2002 Miata for her birthday. Very fun car and She is grinning ear to ear, says she doesn't want to AutoX it though. Check out the off-set wheel spokes, they are part of a physics defying top secret skunk-works project. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/snookwheel/Marydrivinghome.jpg
23. Yep.. I have a Solo Vee and have had Vette guys ask about the engine after smoking 'em on a Solo Course... I always enjoy telling them it's just a 1600 VW!
24. :hurray::hurray::cheers:
25. What flyer said! Thanks and be safe. I bet that V8 rocket Scott is building will be a blast! Where is home, when you are home? Scott
