  1. Lots of good info concerning hotels, etc. for the July NJMP event. Anyway admin could go to page four of this thread and (starting with Klasik-69's July responce) move these posts to the NJMP thread? We could give back lucky dawg's thread.
  2. I considered that, but thought the wife and kids might want a break from being track side after a full day.
  3. Two more cents worth, I booked at the Marriott Fairfield in Millville.
  4. Put in new seals, skip the paint (for now) and get the car back together.
  5. Klasik-69, FWIW . . . and all kidding aside . . . . I do have a high admiration for Vettes; I even like Porsches and actually looked into buying a 28K mile blue 911 Carrera Cabriolet earlier this year (I liked the color and it had a six speed). I had to make a choice between track goodies and the car. Well, Bogarts, Avons and Traqmates 'ain't' cheap. As for Vettes, I probably hold the record for having driven the most variants without ever having owned one; start with the 1957 model year and count forward. Truth is, my dream car is a cascade green 57 Vette with beige coves and matching interior. In my not-so humble opinion, it's the most beautiful color combo/body style Vette ever produced. I don’t own one because, simply put, I can’t afford it. If I could, it would be sitting in my shop, parked right next to ‘Franken’Storker, my brand new C7 Vette and the Carrera. Back to poking fun at beating up on 'the other guys'; at my last outing at Cresson, there was a 550rwhp Z06, brand new C7, Porsche GT3 and a race-prepped Prosche GT3 in my run group . . . . ‘Franken’Storker played well with all and I'll leave it at that. Now crawl on out and let me have my turn under the bus. :jester: Also, how about posting some photos in Off Topic of your 67 Goat. Love the old stuff.
  6. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?t=9158
  7. Either way, rumors will abound. :smilielol5:
  8. So, upgrading to a 6spd Cat was not necessary . . . . . nonsense! The ego screams for, and must have, the 6spd! . . . .
  9. Differences aside, this will still be an excellent asset for Ultralite owners; one man's repair/upgrade sparks another man's idea.
  10. Tom, I wonder what they'll have to say when I show up with 'Franken'Storker? :smilielol5:
  11. :ack: Aaaaaaaahh!!! . . . . . . :svengo:
  12. Yep, this should be legit. :smilielol5:
  13. Well . . . . here comes that bus again! :smilielol5:
  14. . . . . . . and just when I thought I knew everything. :svengo:
  15. I resemble these remarks!!!! . . . . on my seventh Toyota. But in all honesty, I've never had to B&M about any service/repair/warranty issues. :smash:
  16. Thanks, rikker! Now I don't feel anywhere nearly as bad as I did over how much I paid for my Bogarts. :smilielol5:
  17. I'll admit, HP is addictive. But truly, it's the inherent 'fun' factor of such a car that really shines. HP aside, the pure joy of a unique driving experience will be what causes Dan to continually pick bugs from between his teeth.
  18. Looking great, Z! BTW, relieve me of my ignorance; how do you post text in between photos? :banghead:
  19. Yep, gonna be a good thread.
  20. You're only in over your head if you give up . . . . or if someone is shoveling dirt in your face. Since that's not the case, and being that you don't sound like the 'giving up' type, I'd say your good. And that car . . . . it oozes with opportunity and possibilities.
  21. I don't suppose that's a Rutan stuffed away in the corner is it?
  22. NVP66S, Also, you may want to have admin move this thread to Member Rides.
  23. There's those wooden cams I've been waiting on! Seriously, going to be a great build thread for all.
  24. Go get yourself a thread pitch gauge and a bolt diameter gauge (see photos below), measure pitch and diameter and then check out these guys for lug nuts at: http://www.ezaccessory.com/ :seeya:
