  1. Sorry, Mike. Ain’t buying it. I met Mike’s wife. We are all standing in the garage, looking at cars and putting faces and names together for the first time. While Mike was educating my pilot cohort about Stalkers and 7s in general (he’d never heard of or seen such), this is how the conversation went: Me: ‘So, how are you liking the BRZ?’ Mighty’s wife: ‘It’s a great car, but it’s too slow. We’re thinking of installing an LS3.” That right there told me all I needed to know. :jester:
  2. If it works out (more planet aligning) my entire family will be joining me.
  3. I may seeing Mighty in Denver next week. I’ll twist his arm really hard. :jester:
  4. Yep, sign me up,for that one! Fuel eco has gone from ‘bad’ to ‘oh my, too bad’ this year. :banghead:
  5. All, Chiming in. Croc, knows the details, but as of right now (pending all planets continue aligning with the work schedule) I do plan on coming to NJMP for the July event. Hope to see you all there again, and meet some new folks as well. Last time for me was a blast. Sorry, not taking anymore requests for ‘Peter Pan’ demos. Shane
  6. Another bump. Someone’s missing out and needs to pull the trigger on this deal. X
  7. OK, what happened in Ward?
  8. Kansas #2...I suppose curvy roads didn’t get factored in. Nothing against Kansas, but we’re not exactly a ‘straight line’ bunch around here.
  9. I could do that...just not standing up! :jester: Thanks for sharing, Skip.
  10. Some starting points: First and foremost - grounds? Tach - does the tach have a 'set switch' (for lack of a better term) on the back of the housing, i.e., 4,6,8 cyl settings? Fuel gauge - correct ohms range for the gauge (for example, mine is 0-90 ohms)? Speedo - assuming electric. VSS properly wired?
  11. Chris, Welcome to the forum. While it's not a 20K price-ranged Cat, one of the best, and most well sorted, Cats available for sale right now is the 2003 SV Zetec up for grabs by our very own Croc. I can personally vouch for the car; it's turn-key, ready to go. And, if you decide to track the car, it's ready for that as well. Here's the link: 2003 Caterham SV Zetec 5spd
  12. True . . . . :jester:
  13. You’re gonna make me drive in the rain so you can watch me do 360’s again.
  14. That's pretty darn cool, Skip. I used to feel pretty good about myself. Now I feel fairly insignificant. :leaving:
  15. All, Taking the Storker out for its maiden ‘track day’ voyage since it’s rebirth. The event is with Chin on March 3-4. If any can make it out, if for no other reason than to just hang out, it’d be great to see some likeminded folks there. Shane . . . . :lurk:
  16. Returned last night to Eldo after a two-day trip over to SNL Performance in Haslet, TX where James Karger (Tuner for SNL) and I spent the better part of Tuesday morning tuning the Storker. 17. Mike and I have been trying to find an opportunity to get together for awhile now. It was great to finally put faces and names together. And Mike is an excellent host. Thanks for the ride in your awesome car, Mike! With my job, I've had the privilege of meeting Stalker owners around the country and Mike's Stalker is a superb build. Pictures don't do it justice; the car needs to be seen up close...and experienced. :driving: Mike, BTW, I may be back in Denver for a few days next month to cover the Centennial airplane. I'll touch base as this materializes.
  18. Done. Thanks, Mike.
  19. Wayne, im an over-the-counter-Stalker-building-NAPA guy, so I really am no help, but it’s great to have you onboard. Big welcome. Shane
  20. Yep, I was in NH two days ago. By golly, he fixed it. :jester:

  22. Sounds like serious fun! :auto:
  23. LOL, Skip!!! Hey, on a serious note, try the search engine duckduckgo.com. I don't think they track. X
  24. Well, took the Storker out for its first 'real' run today; that is, out of the neighborhood and off for a few miles of driving. The video quality isn't very good (lousy at best; hastily shot with an iPhone) and there's lots of wind noise. However, it felt good to hit the open road if only for a bit. I would have preferred a warmer temp, but it was tolerable cool at 49 degrees.
