Caterham 620R in Portugal and Spain - Bookatrack Iberia 2017

Mike, Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! Great videos and photos. Thanks for sharing, and in such detail. Suave's in the corner having a drool feast and chanting "more, more, more" . . . :lurk::lurk::lurk: -
Do those engines come with a disco ball? :jester:
-
Yep...gonna dress'm up with coil packs. :jester: Mike, if my car looked as good as yours, I'd have to rethink the valve covers.

Mike, Sorry...missed this. The front louvers were made by a rod shop while the rear louvers were scored on eBay. X

Nooo!!! We'll never see Buddy again! :ack:

Yes:smash: :cooldude:

Carl, Can you use a jumper wire (bypass the pressure switch) and see if you have brake lights? This might determine if the switch is/is not the problem.

Well, it did happen. I rolled in to Indy this evening and got together with Jack Banker and his friend, Dave, both of whom were kind enough to allow me to tie up their entire evening talking cars. Jack was also kind enough to take me for a ride in his extremely well built Stalker with it's turbo charged Eco Boost 4 cylinder; my first Stalker ride since Feb 28 at TWS (no, we did not get airborne). :jester: Dave's Stalker is equally well built; Jack and Dave's handy work. The camera doesn't capture the build and aesthetic quality of either of these cars; both need to be viewed up close and in person to be truly appreciated. And for those who are Chevy fans, take note of the COPO Camaro in the background of Dave's over-the-top man cave.

Hopefully, the engine will be ready for pickup when I return from Indy (15th?). I do believe the diffuser works. However, without a wind tunnel, it's pure theory. But I'm pretty sure it does cut grass. :jester:

The Regular Summary of Classified Ads of Se7ens Found For Sale
xcarguy replied to Croc's topic in Cars For Sale
Hey, Mr. Croc! :seeya: Suave hasn't used profanity since you left. :smilielol5: -
Looking awesome, Mike! I do like the clams.
-
slomove, Hate to see you sell. One of the most well sorted Birkins out there. Someone will get a heck of a deal on this car. If I remember, the mirrors are custom as well. Didn't see those in the write up.
-
Jerry, Congratulations on the sale. Im a bit sad though; I remember picking your brain when I was first getting into sevens. Thanks for the help during those early years, and stay plugged in here. Shane

Tonight, I arrived in Indy for the new job. Finished up a few more items before departure: rear brake lines; refurbished and installed the grill; head lights, front park lights and turn signals (found the small LEDs down under - Croc should appreciate that); C&R Racing radiator; and mounted the Accusump. On the way over, I stopped in at the NCM Motorsports Park for a quick visit with Mario who was busy beating up on the Corvette folk. Engine is currently being rebuilt by SNL out of the Dallas area. Getting a bit more c.i.d. (LS3 short block) and a few more ponies. For now, the Storker is on the ground and awaiting a drive train (that should happen toward the end of September). To be continued . . . :seeya:

Tom, Looks marvelous! Great job!

On my! It is time to put Suave to work and clean up that little potty mouth of his. Mmmm, the shop toilet needs some attention. :jester: Doesn't Suave look simply fabulous in his cleaning attire? And accented with his favorite colors; seasick green and BLUE!!!! A little black undercoat on the hiney will tie it all together. Suave's decor du jour!:seeya:
