I've got a pic somewhere of my 15 yo daughter and her friends all in evening dresses all over the car .. but I don't know if it is drool worthy ..

I know of one Rotus which has 77k on it ..

Convert from carbs to FI .. Replace the direct drive engine fan with an electric fan setup .. to get a few more hp. Redo the dash .. with some more instrumentation .. Fan on light and Charge light .. Redo the aluminum fuel tank with appropriate aluminum filler bung .. I don't like the current PVC setup .. Redo the front rack for a better turning circumference .. Maybe replace the drum brakes in the rear axle with disc brakes .. New side doors and new wind deflectors .. Bikini top .. Rear deck cover .. Ho hum ..

congratulations: I remember reading about this car at RMSCI .. so you will have a RH drive car .. My live too has been more complicated than usual with a frequently flooded basement .. two cars out of commission (wife involved in a crash, other out with FI problems) .. and a death in the family. Work obligations have made my life very busy .. but I hope to get a little more organized soon and fulfill my duty as treasurer .. Rob

Our dehumidifier has been running 24/7 and there is still water in the basement .. I have had the house opened up for two days now .. with the low humidify outside and sunshine for three days now .. supposed to get some more rainstorms tomorrow .. Today I got the Rotus up and running around town .. first time in two weeks! I was driving to my favorite junkyard to get some parts and could not get there my usual way because a bridge was washed out! So I had to drive a circuitous route to get there .. I might take you up on your offer for the spare dehumidifier ..

My basement is finally dry with a dehumidifier running around the clock and fans aimed at critical saturated rug areas. We were lucky as we already owned a small wet vac and borrowed a large wet vac too. My friend was telling me of people going to Home Depot and discovering that they were all sold out of both of the above and instead leaving with a mop or a squigee. Monday my local ACE hardware had placed special orders of shop vac and dehumidifiers. No fun coming home from work and hitting the basement time and again to address all the water .. Rob

The Green piece is for illumination of the ring around the power socket at night .. so you connect that to the gauge illumination. The other two connections are for ground and +12v. Most are fused and connected to +12v switchable to off when the ignition is turned off. Determine which connection is which with a multimeter before wiring it in. Rob

I live some distance from the south fork of the little Peachtree Creek (near Emory). The flood waters have not hit us .. but the basement has been flooded two times this week .. Nothing what others have experienced .. Did you see the video of the house on fire that was burning down to the water level and nearby was a fire truck which was almost totally submurged? Too bad that so many never expected a flood and thus do not have flood insurance Rob

This Thing over Louisiana is spewing storms all over the Southeast ... No Seven driving for several days now and maybe for another week to come! Rob
