  1. Mike, Croc is correct, they have the cutout for the crutch straps. They are about 43cm wide at the base, and may be a bit too wide. Send me your car's interior width and I can let you know for sure. Better yet, meet me at Watkins Glen 7/30-31 with your car in tow for a trial fit. I should of thought to bring one to NJMP. I bet your car would gain 20 MPH on the straights (even bigger gains while you are parked) with these babies. Croc, yes, they come with the adjustable tracks and hardware. If these were 15mm wider I think they would have fit me. Just imagine how good they would look with your color scheme and all the rest of your CF and they hold you in ever so securely when having an off track experience. I'll even help you put them. (By the way, did you ever get your cam cover?)
  2. I don't know about adoption, but I might swap for some rainbow decals
  3. OK, after spending the nicest Saturday of the year playing with a set of Carbon Fiber Tillett Caterham (B2) seats that I got when I bought my car, I give up. I'm an optimistic sort of guy, so I thought a little dieting, making a seat pad and a little luck would make the hip bones of a 6'6"/300# frame fit...but no luck. Man I wish I could fit. These are made by Tillett for a Caterham SV or CSR. They are probably a little to wide for for a standard size Caterham. Mounting hardware and seat rails are included. They have the Alcantara pads, with Caterham printed in the headrests. They have never been used, other than a couple of trial installs. Other than a repair I had to make on a cross threaded side mounting nut (not visible), they are like new. These seats would really make any car look and feel great. Caterham charges 950 GBP each for these and plus shipping. Yes, at today's exchange rate that is a whopping $1,531. I'm not in a rush to sell them, so I'm taking offers. http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/img/p/3024-2998-thickbox.jpg http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=3024
  4. Moved to parts for sale... Can't figure out how to delete this post...can anyone help?
  5. I was there last Saturday and found some nice stretches of fresh smooth pavement. Lot's of slow drivers at times, so I recommend pulling over to find a nice opening in the traffic. You can make your way up route 17M through Sterling forest. There is a good biker bar on Greenwood Lake call Emerald's after you get through the twisties. Karl
  6. I love my trailer. Croc, I bet you could find a nice spot to park in the back streets of the Greenville section of JC.
  7. ...go faster parts? Do tell! Carbon fiber is much tastier than eating salads!
  8. Tom, Excellent work. Mike, That's vertically enhanced... both me and the roll bar...
  9. Tom, I think if you calculate HP to weight ratios, Mike has me beat. The reason he is behind is that he kept lapping me and I could not see him in my mirrors due to his stealthy color. Maybe I need to get a supercharged RST-V8 for a cool 500 hp!
  10. Defending the line from the lower HP cars! http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac336/blubarisax/20110627_NJM_IN1_4458.jpg
  11. Good luck at the Glen! We will expect a full report... Karl
  12. Here is a little clip from my video. The track is T-bolt and we were on lightning I'll leave the cinematography editing to Tom.
  13. Michael, As fast as you drive, I'd suggest Pagid RS14 Black pads!
  14. I also like the Garmin Nuvi 3790. It is nice and thin and best of all the suction cup mount sticks nicely to my Caterham's dash and includes a decent speaker. You can even route your cell phone calls through it via the bluetooth. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134&pID=87930
  15. Yes, PCA is quite strict about their groups. Even if you are advanced in one region, they don't count that without a written endorsement from your home group's chief instructor. Given how new I am to all this, I'm just as happy to be in the Novice class (green run group). After three events they did sign off on me not needing to have an instructor in the car. It seemed to me that the many of the novice PCA drivers (in their shiny new GT3s) were every bit as quick as the SCDA Intermediate group. I wish I could make the 11/12 SCDA event but I can't get out of the office...
  16. I'll be at Watkins Glen July 30/31 with the Philly Porsche club (http://rtr-pca.org) They are a friendly group with plenty of non-porsche cars. I like them because they plan their events on the weekends. They have plenty of very fast drivers in the advanced run groups, but the intermediate and beginner groups are quick too. Karl
  17. I wish I could have stayed for Tuesday at T-Bolt as well... I had a great time on the track, but the most fun was meeting everyone in person. We should definately make this an annual event. I'm still working at my skills on the track, but even so I was pleased to pass a GT3 once in a while. But I had to stop counting how many times KitCat passed me. I will send Tom some video files to add to the offical footage. Unfortunately, I had a rather large bug on the camera lens for the first two sessions of the day and the track image on the video is of T-Bolt when we were at Lightning. I don't think I broke 120 in the long straight, but it felt like much faster... It's interesting to be able to review your track line without worrying about joining Croc in the grass. Great outting. Big thanks to Tom for getting it together. I'll be at Watkins Glenn on July 30/31 with the Philly PCA if anyone wants to join me I think there is still room. Karl
  18. The weather is perfect! Come by T-Bolt and say hi. Karl
  19. I'm in the white trailer with the Caterham Racing logo near the T-Bolt garages. Stop in!
  20. Reporting in from NJMP -- T-Bolt is a BLAST -- even if you drive like a girl!
  21. Hope you find a place!
  22. Hi Tom, Thanks for pointing out the article. This is my car so the build was about a year ago. I'll have to go find a copy. Karl
  23. Does anyone know if SCDA sends out a track package? I assume we can't all have the number 7!
  24. I'll be getting in on Friday for a warm up event with PCA at Thunder Bolt. I'll plan on moving my trailer (White with Caterham Racing logos on it) over to Lightning after the PCA event ends Sunday afternoon. I'll bring some beer! And, the Texas Roadhouse sounds good to me.
