  1. I suspect they are a little too wide for a standard Caterham.
  2. For those of you who have asked: Seat base front to back 21.0" Seat base width 17.5" Seat back width 17.5" Back angle 60 deg. Back height from top straight down to floor 31.0" Runners included. Hope this helps...
  3. Wait, doesn't everyone have massaging seats? Just hit the curbing at the track!
  4. OK, so it's time to clean out my garage. First up is a set of leather seats for an SV that are in nearly new condition. New they run $558 for each seat and $137 for each headrest. To buy the set new you would be looking at $1,390 in total, plus shipping. The runners are not included. They are about 18.5" or 46 cm wide. I'll get the exact measurements if you need them. Asking $750 for the pair plus shipping. Will entertain offers. Karl http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac336/blubarisax/IMG00191-20110807-1808-1.jpg
  5. Next thing you know he will be posting here and maybe even join us at NJMP! Really Croc, the only thing you can do is have your CSR painted orange or yellow so you will blend in with the rest of us men...
  6. No PCA (Still Banned) I was with NASA
  7. Great weekend at Watkins Glen this weekend. http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac336/blubarisax/20130929_WGI_DE3_9158_zps073a9a19.jpg
  8. I also have a motorcycle trailer. It's a Featherlite 1610. A bit narrow, but light and easy to tow. http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac336/blubarisax/IMG00118-20110514-1659.jpg
  9. While not the cheapest wheels, BBS makes some lovely ones. I got a set from mog-racing.com. They come with dark grey centers and I had the outer rims hardcoat anodized. I also got some Rial wheels from mog-racing.com and they are also a fantastic wheel. The Rials are in my avatar, polished rim with black centers.
  10. Sounds fun, what's the date?
  11. Who is the big guy in orange?
  12. I've got a lovely set of Cosworth high lift cams that would go nicely in this head if anyone is interested. I replaced them with even higher lift cams to get an edge on Croc! They are the YD0718 Inlet (12.5) and YD0718 Exhaust (11.3). Cam Sprockets included. http://cosworth.com/media/335568/duratec_components_catalogue_2009_v1.0.pdf
  13. Wish I could make it. Weekends are my only hope of getting on the track. Thankfully (it pays for track days) I have a business to run. Lightning is great track for a Seven, hope some of you other guys can get out there. It sounds like a fun event. Karl
  14. Good point, that's the first answer that makes sense to me. Guess I need to stay on line during the cool down lap to check the theory. Thanks, Karl
  15. Here is the rubber I collected with Tom on the track yesterday. I scraped a baseball sized lump off right before the run. Can't figure out why the rubber seems to collect all in a line around the tire. -3 Degrees of camber and 20 psi hot. Temps were uniform across the tire and this only happens on the front tires (both of them). http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac336/blubarisax/TireRubber2_zps31612486.jpg
  16. Did you call Tony in the UK? You might also try MOG in Germany.
  17. I got mine from SBD Motorsports http://www.sbdev.co.uk/Gearbox/Super%20Clutch/Super_Clutch_Covers_Plates.htm
  18. Gary did a nice job for me too. Denver to NYC was about $1,200.
  19. Mike, if you ever want to borrow my trailer, just say the word. With the state of the NJ Turnpike, the drive to NJMP can take longer for me than WGI
  20. Mike, I did email Joachim, but he is on vacation this week. I have a good shop to do the corner weighting and check to make sure the alignment is not out of whack.
  21. Thanks BlueMax, I do understand the variation in tracks, just looking for a good starting point. Both tracks at NJMP (my home tracks) are made up of mostly left hand turns.
  22. I'm sure someone out there knows something about track alignment specs. I'm taking the car in for corner weighting, and plan to have the alignment checked as well. I've been using the standard settings from the build manual, but there is probably more I should know. My setup is: Caterham Superlight SV Michelin radial slicks 20/54-13 and 24/57-10 -1.5 Degree Ears Nitron 3-way dampers Thanks!
  23. Mike, any tips for underwater sound?
  24. Sounds good!
