  1. teh major contention of aero on a se7en. almost an age old debate.
  2. not seeing any effects of rain today or in teh forecast for the 19th. Unless there is a storm coming thru by lunchtime at least, there will be se7ens driving somewhere. It is summer in the northeast, it would be foolish not to expect scatter showers in the afternoon when the weather is hot and humid.
  3. I'll free my schedule.
  4. they fire blanks?
  5. there is a club drive in NJ this saturday ur welcome to join us. Please check the thread in the NorthEast region forum. Don't worry about having a non se7en, or even tagging along as a passenger. I did that for both drives last year as my car was being a basketcase.
  6. This is the best advice u have recieved in the thread for your current point in the decision making process. I could remember where teh map with all the owners was i would gladly link that.
  7. The northeast's only National Tour is scheduled for 2 months from now.
  8. will the child actually care about the signature? are u better off taking the family to a ball game and sending the kid to the first row during batting practice so he can ask for signatures and meet the players himself. Twenty years ago my father took me and my sister on vacation and we went to a minor league game upstate. We ended up catching a foul ball and the batter who hit the ball signed it after the game. He actually did make it up to majors for a few seasons, but moments are whats better for making memories. Going the se7en route, i would see if u could get a major league stadium to let u park in the players :drool:lot "because that where your car would be safest". your son will clean up on signatures and photos with players if u could swing that.
  9. In natural lighting, Justin's car looks so awesome.
  10. Tom doesn't want to come out and play. And if he did I would start out by saying the r888s are more than enough to catch him :smilielol5: Mike, I know how light they are. the 10" wheel just sat 2-3mm of tyre right on the uprights for the cycle wings when Tom and I were monkeying around. so i figure a 9" wheel will pinch the tyres in just enough. But from what Craig and Steven were saying from driving Danny's car last weekend, they were running out of gear. I may opt to go with tyres than have a 22" OD rather than the 20" to preserve that until i have an engine that can rev higher. Comparing my speedometer to my GPS for the trip, the speedo was off by 5mph at 60. I am curious about what the stats would be on the Team Dynamics.
  11. yup. a 3mph bumper falls off when ready to go faster than 3mph! does Manitoba have any regs for getting the Stalker titled as a 60s Lotus or replica so regulations of that year would apply?
  12. Mike, i think danny will pass on them, but let it run through his head again.
  13. weight of 13x9 wheel? expected price range? PM me if ur not able to go publicly w/ that info.
  14. After feeling how much lighter YellowSS' 13" kodiak and hoosier wheel/tyre combination was compared to my 15" KN and toyos, i want to make the next step. Are there any one the se7en owners on caterham/ford on 4x108 pattern. I would like to see if its possible to reduce the HIGH cost even further.
  15. been using the 1/2 doors this and its a big difference. w/ the 1/2 hood the ride becomes quite comfortable in a 7s sense.:hurray:
  16. confirmed for the 12th.
  17. I would have distracted u from finishing the hood...i mean repairing the airplanes. Please:chillpill: teh thread has been in the AutoX section since early February. Lentz actually swung by Sunday to air up some tyres.
  18. sure u don't want to bank all that time to go a bit further east if a 2011 National Meet can happen? I'm still game for Branson, Mo.
  19. Drove thru HARD rain for 10-15 minutes on thursday night driving thru Baltimore. Put the new wiper blades on the night before. was able to maintain 70+(not km/hr mind you) on the expressway on r888s. A bit of white knuckling, but never felt out of control, especially w/ the defogger not functioning. More rain friday night driving in southern Maryland looking for dinner. no problems at lower speeds. well, no handling problems. condensation was a bitch and a half w/ the full hood and doors and no defogger. FogX is not a viable solution:). I had no problem the night before w/ the 1/2 hood and 1/2 doors at the higher speed. been in rain plenty of times. drove thru some showers on the initial drive home from Boston in 2006. With appropriate weather gear u'll be fine. Definitely some material thats water resistant is best along w/ functioning wipers.
  20. u'll enjoy being able to flat foot the right pedal again.
  21. plenty of goodness on tap at the Ships Inn. I guess I'm closest. I can swing by later tonight when i get off work.
  22. check ebay or Harbor Freight for thin walled lug sockets. Ultimate Tool Co. has an more expensive set of thin impact long sockets.
  23. So I'm not running DM alone, who is my competetion?:seeya:
  24. a new Birkin w/ IRS. maybe a nicely tuned duratec. that's what came between the lines to me.
  25. registration closes this friday.
