GoPro camera's audi will be useless in a se7en. even the new HD variants where the audio was improved. our cars need a separate audio input for a mic which can bee tucked away from the wind. or sufficiently baffled.

welcome to the site Sandy. i was actually looking for ur email address a couple of months ago:conehead: so no luck w/ the 5 speed conversion. Sandy's story about the car's history is actually pretty interesting. all se7ens have lots of 'flavor'. hope u can make it out to any of this season's drives. -
Had it out yesterday for the trip to the local SCCA seasonal event awards 'banquet'/karting event. very nice despite the traffic. Absolutely freezing going over the bridge twice and once the sun went down as i left a sweatshirt at home along with any of the tops. Appears either the coolant temp sensor or gauge is being tempermental. needle never budged but the radiator and heater were generating warmth.

outside of the weather, why be in cali. sure its nice, but u know u miss the northeast's miserable seasons and rain and snow storms. Plus oppressive humidity. wouldn't just feel better helping Tom shovel all that snow he had last month in Philly?:hat:

skip, are u using the raceline wet sump w/ the miata block. If the skidplate fits the wetsumped zetec in an SV frame, i'd be interested. if there's no others looking for the same I can have someone local fab the plate.

not sure if/when I'm making a trip to SF/Monterrey this year. With ALMS in May this year, thats going to be a no go. Hopefully Historics will be doable.

Carlisle Kits is normally in May, correct? Maybe fly in and bum around w/ a few Miata and se7eners for the long weekend. Pocono, Summit Point, and beaveRun would be teh closest tracks. trailering twice in the same year may be a bit much. how have u been since the surgery?

damn, u guys are so lucky. we're getting nothing up here. there was a dusting when i woke up and nothing since. suppossedly the heavy bands of 3-5"/hr we're getting stalled about 3-5 miles south of Jones Beach/Fire Island. No Scoob nuts for me
