Sounds like a Saturday AutoX at the Meadowlands next season and a Sunday NJ/Pa drive next spring.

There's nothing wrong in going out for a drive and not looking for adventure.

Minor repair was successful and I made it out to Joisey. Croc stopped by in the late morning and met Warren and Chris. Unfortunately Mike could not stay long enough to see the next heat when we would be driving instead of seeking out the only shade on site. Worse than that was Chris' VW powered LoCost had starter issues and I offered my 7 to make the trip something more than a complete waste. Warren finished the day at 50.0, after stalling at 50.2/50.3. I finished at a 51.9. Could find more time w/o added lots of weird rubber patterns to the lot. Chris finally nabbed a 53.x after struggling with tires that communicate too audibly.

Rubber fuel hose replaced, battery charging, fingers crossed!

Considering that Caterham still uses shippers that have ships with sails, I would think 3 months may be attainable if they are not attacked by pirates or succumb to scurvy.

battery is in the correct orientation, +/- are hooked up correctly. the cables are suitable length that they can be reversed. Worst case is that an ECU can be fried.

I ended up cutting to shape some larger hoses a few years back for the Zetec. Find a local auto parts distributor that keeps a lot of hoses and match it.

Go there in the tintop and ride shotgun. not like it hasn't been done before.
