  1. Drew, drill a hole thru the stanchion?
  2. luckily mine was well sorted for what i wanted. but it still doesn't stop:_deadhorse: picked up a softbits e-bag. very nice. i have a 1/2 hood with them now waiting to be modified for a 2nd ez-in and a yellow sripe to be added. i just added 2 SPA CF mirrors i got the mirrorsforseven panoramic unit when i knocked the caterham unit off over the winter. was driving just with thereflective nature of the chrome headlamps! i have to add the rear fog and reverse lights that came a couple of days ago. acouple of new wiper blades came with those. i learned how to install those, even though i haven't yet. i'm waiting for some reason on installing the 12V outlet. i have one, i just have been a sloth. now that the GPS has been sent back to teh manufacturer for sevice, i should take care of it i have an extra set of large Rockblocker film that i will install over the headlamp glass. I have my autoX tyres, bridgestone re-01r, i just need my other set of wheels :nopity: arriving with that will be 1/2 doors and the caterham 3rd brake light. easier to fit that that modify the 1/2 hood for some reason. in the future i would like a quick release for the steering wheel, maybe go over to the black pack stuff. SVT shortblock when i have full control of this bugger.
  3. ok, i can handle the camber on the front and the build book tels me how to adjust castor. How is the rear camber adjusted? i want to dial al ittle more in for autoX.
  4. Installed the SPA mirrors and windscreen mounts that Chris sells thru teh site. u will need slotted screw driver - to remove top 2 bolts in the stanchions 3/16 hex key or driver - to lock the angle of the mirror stalk. 3mm hex key or driver - to mount the provide bolts thru the mirror/mount/stanchion to the windscreen. also tightens the top bolt on teh mirror controling the rotation of the mirror. contents(per side): Spa mirror black bolt, washer, nyloc nut silver bolts, 2 aluminium mount; there are 2 tapered holes on opposite sides allowing this to sit flush:thumbs: u may need to enlarge one the hole nominally. I did. installation is simple, if a slight nusance going back and forth getting the mirror corsely adjusted. 1. take off top stanchion bolt. 2. install mount via new longer bolt into open hole. 3. place bolt that will recieve washer and nyloc nut in center hole facing out, place mirror over bolt hole, slightly tighten with the 3/16 key. attach with new longer bolt. 4. adjust mirror. take off lower bolt and tighten mirror. tighten back on. 5. fine adjust the mirror by loosening the bolt on top of the mirror. tighten all bolts, and nyloc nut when satisfied with position. pics to follow.
  5. i may have open rooms at Fontana since Skip is 99% out:cry: thursday night thru monday AM sorry for jumping in your thread.

  7. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1283661 c/n: brand new lug nuts, probably were the incorrect size.
  8. go with a turbo setup, run the downpipe out one side, and pull an external wastegate dumptube and bike muffler out the other side!:bigears: it would also be cool to use teh autometer nexus gaugues instead of the caterham stockers. yup, i can the $$$$ frittering away!
  9. options boost the price, but the more often and varied use of the car, the more u wish u had those. unless u have the fabrication skills or access to someone who can do such work, the safe bet is go directly thru a dealer or buy somoneelse's.
  10. bump as the time draws near. i plan to gas at a rest that i beleive is exit 3/ philipsburg. and then maybe Chambersburg depending on the range of the cars in the caravan. anyone still interested with metting up?
  11. blatchat and ebay.co.uk is usually best for normal sized caterham stuff. for half doors, th most economical solution is the softbits stuff.
  12. coming along well. get 'er fit 'n' proper and u'll soon be set. the suspension seems to have worked out well on routine roads. be interesting on its new abilities on some ... more proctive roads:smash:
  13. I'll pass this over in uncle Atwell's (carbuff) direction, see if any Lotus members would be interested.
  14. i'll probably be bring my sony vx2000 down. not settled on which video mount, so i may buy both. 1 mounts on the roll bar, the other will be above the boot. I have a jvc miniDV/SVHS deck at home so i can do lossless miniDV dubs with my firewire cable when i get home. i've seen teh suction cup mount. i'm a bit wary. also, because of our fenders, the vision may be blocked.
  15. i hope for 15 runs on a long course!:hurray: :flag: hopefully that will kill off my all seasons! looks like we will be 1 run group, and the regular ETR members will be running another group.
  16. awesome andrew. Thats what life's all about!
  17. he's a git. I think it was a Sigma powered Cat along with aniversary colors.
  18. go Gert!:hurray:
  19. oh carp, he's hooked!:hurray: the std bar is fine. and will save u. the FIA bar is homologated for higher resistant loads, and covers taller individuals.
  20. definitely. 'course it easier in tin top:) for most of us it would be a bit difficult since theres negligable storage room in a se7en. toss in 3-4 days woth of cothes, etc, and a possible +1, i'm not sure when extra parts could go?
  21. didn't make it down myself http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1272899
