  1. thanks for teh heads up. David and I were planning on Va being the torturously slow part of the trip. new fines for speeding in effect this month i heard as well. $1000+.
  2. my oldest cat does that way too often. and he only once jumped into the 7.
  3. i use Steve pronounciation. long A, short e, the last sylable almost has no vowel.
  4. bungee or lash it underneath the rotus if u haven't.
  5. from the saturday timetable ur best bet to see everything is the event just after 4pm at the Fontana Dam photo.
  6. the english are an assault to their own language. the welsh are even worse.:_deadhorse: i'll give them the hard A, but there's 3 sylables in that word!:jester:
  7. come down anyway!
  8. considering how 'superb' the hearing on bats is, u were probably just helping evolution out. oh noes, teh batz is coming to rulz us! its all Bruce Wayne's fault!
  9. if its towards the later side, i'll swing by.
  10. i'd be interested in a a pair of 6 and 7 for each side. I wanna be like Al!
  11. i still have a free room in one of the houses in Fontana Village off 28. it will be available from thursday night thru monday morning. anyone who still needs a room and wants to commune with their fellow se7en owners, PM me.
  12. i'll ride with someone to get scared or give someone a ride in my slow fatboy drift machine.
  13. i could be there on a sunday if it doesn't conflict with AutoX.
  14. working ten days straight right before leaving on the 5th. almost was working on the overnight into the 5th but i reckoned that would not have been a good idea. i just hope i get my Softbits in.
  15. us subaru owners go find some old ladies crossing the street and blast them to see if they crap themselves.
  16. I will be able to get more video up in the coming days or weeks my computer took a crap. first event there for the region, and everything went well, so we should be back there 7/15. the track itself is a 1/4 mile backed oval. the course was a figure 8 and then a reverse circle. 2 small slolams(sp?). It turned out much better than i had anticipated. more than half teh field was Novices, as the DC nationals and another event (HDPE?) were this weekend. still on the all seasons. FTD was 32.x by a prepped EvoVIII. i ran 36.9x, 36.6x, 36.3x, off course, and 37.4x, in that order. next time out i move from NCS to CS. i hope i have wheels to mount my tyres to by then. tech turned away my camera mount. i have to get one for the roll bar. 2nd run people told me i was sideways all thru the banking. 3rd run i slowed down a bit. 4th i did at least a 360 leaving the final gate of the slolam leading to the finish. last i just wen t slow as my tyres had retained the heat from the 4th run. the first 3 they were still bone cold. edit: here are a whole bunch of pics in this thread http://www.sqc-ny.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12146&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 . unfortunately you will have to register.
  17. please put some names to those faces
  18. now cut that out! putting ideas in our poor little sick minds.:leaving:
  19. autoX yesterday. wonderful day all around.
  20. looks awesome Paul and Dino. hopefully u get teh upgraded diff up and running in time! i definitely want to see what u've been able to incorporate into ur design.
  21. i'm tempted to go with UR MUTHA  edit: and i just had a defensive driving class saturday. can't even say autoX sunday wore it off.
  22. Rob, u been PM'd. Al, any of the journalists still in need?
  23. having a blog like Al does, or even a small column on a front page directing occasional viewers to threads of note can handle such items. this issue occupies a small part of the whole Se7ens in America debate. The way Magnus has the CCC siteup is an excellent part of whole bunch of little items that go into the knowledge base, even if the wiki has not been enthusiastically adopted. as long as information is discussed in a thread, and the applicable search words are correclty speeled:ack: i do't see a giant need for a disseminated publication, online or print. edit: and Gert and ELV15's respective build and mod pages stay online to resource. and no Al, u'll still be el presidente. Because u've done such a wonderful job, there is no debate (especially since i'm tactless prat) as for being under some other club. Outside of general sports car club, F no! the core spiritual essence of a se7en is its individuality and its stark minimalism. We will be short changed under Lotus. The Elise the marquee and bread winner for them now, and rightly so. Uncle Atwell (Carbuff) seems to have done an excellent job here in NY metro keeping the Espirit camp active, but as a Se7en owner i will get bored looking at makes that I do not have an interest in. I have no problem calling myself a guest when I attend a local Lotus event, because I do not contribute to that community to any extent that I should be called a member. YMMV, but i don't care.:smash:
  24. still getting no response up here in NY occasionally.
  25. Drew, drill a hole thru the stanchion?
