  1. 🤞
  2. Glad to see you are making good progress. Keep the faith and keep at it. Hopefully you will have a couple of months of good driving weather. 🤞
  3. Weather permitting I’m hoping to get to the track on Friday the 5th next week. I’ll let you know definitely early next week. I think Simon is planning to attend as well
  4. Hi John, I’m hoping to do next Tuesday on TBolt if the weather cooperates. I hope to do more over the rest of summer and fall. Hope we can get together for some fun. Tom
  5. Yep that is my yellow 7. I’m the passenger with the white helmet in two of the shots. Aero is wild. Speed thru the turns scared the crap out of me. Little if no braking. 😱
  6. A week away from the sevens at NJMP event. Hopefully everyone is ready. Looking forward to getting back on track with you guys. Tom.
  7. Vlad , you should be happy that they didn’t use yours after watching them bounce off the rev limiter that much. 😝
  8. Just booked my room. I suggest making reservations early, as Millville is a hopping place in the summer and hotel rooms frequently sell out. You can always cancel if you need to.
  9. Hopefully everyone’s car will be ready for this early season event. Especially those that have built new mint colored ones 😝. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there again. Tom.
  10. Because it is the Sumo Version.
  11. Yes I did AutoX for 8 years. And yes our cars are made for it. But I got tired of the work part. As chief of Grid I had to be there early to set up then be standing all day for my 3-4 50-60 second runs. The seat time wasn’t worth the effort IMO and after doing my first Track day I was done with it. No comparison. It does improve your driving skills and teaches you lat apexing but it’s your choice. Definitely cheaper than track day’s though. Tom
  12. Nicely done Charlie 👍
  13. We really lucked out with the weather this weekend as the early forecast looked bleak. But the temp and cool breezes were just about perfect and the rain clouds skirted around the track and missed us completely although halfway through the session the dark clouds looked ominous and as the front blew through a cold breeze hit. Other than Simon’s engine, and Vlads wing stay it was a pretty uneventful couple of days. And I had a blast alternating with Yellow and Orange. Haven’t done that in a long while. My heel a toeing skills deteriorated after driving With paddle shifters in Orange. It was good to get some practice in. Everyone seemed to enjoy the event and hopefully we will see you all next year. Now all you have to do is lose all the weight you gained from the breakfast and lunch buffets.😝 Tom
  14. Beautiful day on track! Thanks Croc! Simon is still working on the oil pump pulley issue but he expects it to be ready for tomorrow. Yellow ran well today. First time I’ve had it out on track in a year or two. Had to relearn the heel and toe and manual shifting. Orange spoiled me with the paddle shifters. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Tom
  15. One week to go. Hopefully you all have done the necessary maintenance and polishing 😝 I will have both cars in attendance. Yellow and Orange. Double trouble. 😜 Should be a fun couple of days. Rest up. Tom
  16. Good job. I’m hoping to get my Rover K powered Caterham ready for the NJMP event. Hope to see you there. Tom
  17. You can register as a guest on motorsportreg.com. Or you can also probably show up at registration before the drivers meeting and register as a guest and that gets you breakfast and lunch. Croc should be responding shortly if he’s awake😝
  18. I see six as of today. Simon will be there so we still need a few more for them to give us our own run group. Hopefully more will sign up shortly. Please don’t wait until the last day as they will cancel us out if we don’t have at least 10 signed up. Tom
  19. Just over 3 weeks remaining before our Sevens gathering at NJMP. Hopefully everyone has sorted out your cars. I finally got my car back this week. I’ve not had it out yet but I’m scheduled for a track day on Friday. I had an issue that left the car not able to shift. My compressor would not shut off and the paddles weren’t working. Luckily it was just the pressure sensor which was an easy fix once the problem was isolated. Fingers crossed. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Tom
  20. Graham, croc, Simon and I are members and will be attending. You guys are our guests
  21. What seats do you have? If you have Tillets and a lowered floor you are probably good. Easy enough to test. Sit in it with your helmet on and see if your head is below the roll bar.
  22. You can just replace the Driver’s side to save some $$$
  23. I think their cancellation policy is not as favorable as the holiday in and Fairfield. Tough to cancel if I remember correctly
  24. Charlie. Remember the old adage. If you look at it you will hit it. So keep your eyes closed 😝
