The prices I see on the Ford drive-train options from Caterham are mind boggling. In fact I wonder why they do not offer more options and choices, seems like many of the Japanese variants might offer more for less. -

I was wondering if you went up just a little in size, like say the dimensions on the Caterham SV, if that would open up any other drive-train options? -
I do not see anything mean spirited in any way with the messages on this thread,just opinions and view points; you could argue that is in good input for a potential buyer to see this. In fact, there have been far more damning comments made on cars for sale in this forum, but those are normally on non-paid-up club members cars. If the no comment/discussion rule is to be enforced would that apply to all statements, including the " wow, love it, what a deal" type?

Sorry but what you say is just a bit silly, your car books out at @ 10 k....., yeah, the low miles are a plus but is still a used Miata, you are dreaming for this year .

the jammer has always intrigued me... does it work against laser too? So, heres a thought ... I have a jammer installed and well hidden in the car , I blow thru a speed trap and freak out their readouts...I guess I should now flip it off.. do they jump in a car and pull me over as they think I might have an active device on board, then what do they do...can they search my car....hmm, I wonder....

Let us not forget the easy no cost ways we can add lightness: Drive naked Shave all over ( lessens drag too) Remove teeth Enema before every drive, (Blat before a Blat) Do not eat for a few days .

that is so fkn sad, I mean we obviously all love these cars so much that we accept levels of service that we are forced to accept after purchase as there is no other choice; yet when it comes to basic no cost info that you would expect even ANY little home based biz to have ...they are less than zero. And what is the deal with Caterham in the USA right now?

so is rocky mountain gone? they have a web site and active phone number? is there a dealer network in the USA for Caterham?, when you look at the website the "retailer" list is dead. Rocky had and still has a parts list, CaterhamUSA has nothing, Rocky used to answer the phone, CatUSA never does. Not exactly inspiring confidence for the BIG $$$ you can drop there on a kitcar.
