yellowss7
Roman, just be aware that NJMP has begun enforcing a late fee for registrations not made 48 hours ahead of time. They will charge you if you wait until the last minute. Fore warned is fore Armed. Tom

yellowss7
Need to register 48 hours before the event to avoid the late fees. I'd do it Wednesday night to be safe. I just don't know how accurate their system is.

SK400
Mike, Tom Does the 48 hrs deadline apply to guests? My mother in law and friend would like to come and spend the day to watch the cars on the track and would like to get them tickets but waiting a bit just in case the weather does not fully cooperate. Should i simply go back in the system and add the guests to my Saturday registration? thanks much Also - I plan to leave southern Connecticut around 2 pm or so on Friday and make my way to the track. Anyone else in the area leaving about the same time? Would be fun to caravan. thanks! seb
Croc
Does the 48 hrs deadline apply to guests? There is no late fee for guests as far as I know. Worst case you can register guests on the spot on the day but thats not nice for the catering folks. Don's Saturday night event must be registered in advance - he needs to know numbers for catering/seating/drinks.
Croc
So no fly in from Suavee this year? how about 2018? Sadly Suave is no longer suave. Shane was never suave so no change there. But, shockingly, they have turned to the dark side of the force and bought a Cobra replica to get their automotive jollies. I know this will be an emotional moment for you as Shane has forgotten the simple joy of going around a corner quick, instead preferring to blip throttle in a straight line. Already you have noticed Shane is no longer on this forum. We should say a prayer for their return to the fold.....at least Suave's return at any rate. Sadly I dont think we will ever see them back at NJMP... ....they banned tractors you know.

ottocycle
I believe I am ready. There I am tempting the devil again. I finished making a sump guard today, not so much for the track but for the drive up 95 from Washington. It has been such a hectic year I have not had the time to recommmission my trailer so I will drive her up to the track. Hopefully my arm restraints will arrive tomorrow as promised. Looking forward to seeing everyone Friday. Cheers, Dermot. PS: If anyone who is attending has a June copy of Octane magazine they no longer need please bring it along. I was out of the country most of June and missed the opportunity to get mine. I have a collection of them and would appreciate the help in keeping them intact. Croc
Hopefully your preparations to join Tom and myself at NJMP this weekend as guests of NJMP Drivers Club are well advanced. If you are interested and at the circuit, then at 3pm Friday June 30 we will have a karting contest. It will cost $60 on the day and consist of a practice session, a qualifying session and then a race. Winner gets bragging rights. The rest are losers. Defending Champion is Dave from Ragtops & Roadsters. But he is unable to make it so someone else will be a winner this year! Safety equipment of overalls, neck ring, helmet and enclosed shoes can be provided by NJMP or you can bring your own. Due to another group following us at 4pm, we cannot run late and will need to start sharp at 3pm. Which means meeting at the karting complex at 2.45pm to get signed in/suited up ready to drive karts. Some karts are quicker than others so early arrivals win out. Let me know if you are interested and I will update numbers Edited June 28, 2017 by Croc
yellowss7
The event is finally here. I'm all packed up and will head over first thing in the morning. Croc is already on site. But just learned that there is a Bike group on Lightning tomorrow, so we may have to delay our set up if our normal area is occupied. Hopefully we won't have an issue, but Croc and I will be there. Call us if you have an issue at the front gate. Looking forward to another fun couple of days on track and dinners in the evening. TBox, Kitcat, BBall, MattC and Mario have been on the road for a day or two making the trip East and North. Hope your travels have been uneventful. See you all tomorrow.
