Vovchandr
Greetings, Max Here! Just wanted to say HI and I was wondering if there are any other Lotus 7 type owners in Eastern Washington? Hi and welcome. Do you happen to have gotten the orange one from BAT? I think there are a few WA members here.
Croc
Welcome to the club forum and congratulations on acquiring your new to you Caterham! There are quite a good group of sevens based around the Seattle and outskirts area although the weather out there likely has kept everyone indoors for the season. I met quite a lot of them at a Christmas party in Dec 2019 before the virus and social distancing became a reality. JohnCh has the best knowledge of who is around that area and you could PM him if he does not chime in. He may be distracted given he is key to the forum website conversion underway currently. But I know he likes doing drives with other sevens. Cheers mike
JohnCh
Where in Eastern WA are you located? Thanks, John
Alfonse
There are a couple of seven owners who participate in the Team Continental track events at ORP. When I go down, that makes 3. If you go, that would make 4. The next event is https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/team-continental-track-time-trials-hpde-oregon-raceway-park-tc-321952 The other guys are out of Oregon. It doesn't take much longer to get to Oregon Raceway Park than the other nearest tracks for me. It is a fun track and they are a safe, low-key group. lucky dawg
I believe there is a newer Caterham between Tri-Cities and Walla Walla.
OrangeMax
The Caterham I purchased is very much like the one from BAT. It was the personal car of the Northern California Caterham Distributor. It was his vision of an R400. It needs a few things done, but it is fun to drive! JohnCh
Is that your Elan? If so, that means there are at least 3 of us on here with yellow FHCs. -John
OrangeMax
Is that your Elan? If so, that means there are at least 3 of us on here with yellow FHCs. -John Yes, Its my Covin Project (LOL). It should be on the road 2022. If you look close you can see the 5 speed transmission sitting in the front wheel well.

Insurme
Max, curious if you purchased the stand your Elan is resting on?
OrangeMax
Max, curious if you purchased the stand your Elan is resting on? The Stand is my own design and build. The body is attached to it using the normal chassis mounting holes. PM me if you want the design drawing Edited February 11, 2021 by OrangeMax

Alfonse
I am going to do the autocross at Evergreen Speedway the 23rd of this month with my S3. Will be at the Cascade Sports Car Club track day in Portland on June 19th too. Love to see other 7s at these things.
