I like them. A big improvement over the standard-issue, box-o-lights that look like something found in the "Towing Accessories" section at your local auto parts store.

The look to be well made and nicely engineered in terms of packaging and wiring. They're not cheap at roughly $530 delivered to the US, but I ordered a set and look forward to installing them on my car.

Very cool. You're likely the first US customer.

We will see how long it takes for them to arrive. The shipping seemed awfully steep, however, for such a small and light package; about the same as what I spent a couple of months ago having this pricey, but beautiful, and heavy, lump of iron shipped over from the UK:

How much did they ask to ship??

The lights are about ~$408 USD without VAT + conversion fee.

Oof!  I know I am not normally that price sensitive but that just gave me a gut punch!  :classic_blink:

Didn't seem that crazy to me. That's close to what a set of Just Add Lightness taillights cost when you order with the mount and flasher.

It was pretty easy to justify as a safety item because it's a lot cheaper to deal with compared to being rear ended. At least that's what I told myself...

So ask your Caterham dealer to add some lamps to his next car container and the shipping will be free! If you can wait a bit you can save a lot of cash.

Upside down on one side of course :classic_biggrin:

Is there any other manufacturer that just flips the lights on one side instead of making a new part?

My set arrived from England yesterday morning.  The name CATERHAM appears on the lens twice. One right side up and the other inverted.

They look and feel to be very well made and the kit is impressively complete. I’m looking forward to installing them on my car.

I like how the word "Top" is on both the top and the bottom of the lens.  That will drive perfectionists crazy :)

Looking forward to hearing your impressions once they are installed.

At least we now know where they come from.

While there is some slight resemblance, the lights on on the truck in the photo are not the ones Caterham is selling now.

Has anybody installed these yet? Just wondering how they operate. It looks like the turn signal is in the center, the brake light on the outside and the fog on the inside but I'm not sure.

This should work. They show function at the end

TImestamp @ 18 mins

Center strip for turn signal. Block towards outer edge for rear foglight. Blocks towards inside for brake lights. Not sure on reverse.

If you look at the end of the last video that was posted, it looks like the person is hitting the brakes when the outer edge of the lights are illuminated. It's not a big deal, I was just curious how they worked. I really liked how they incorporated the reverse and fog lamps into it all. The reverse light is now integrated into the license plate light. I never installed the fog or reverse lights on my car since I thought they were huge and ugly.
