Horn…

Need a horn. A replacement for the factory horn. Easy to install. LOUD.  
 

Obnoxiously loud. 
 

Perhaps even dangerously loud. 
 

I want merging minivan moms to shriek in terror when they hear it and call their elected representatives to complain about the decibels. I want Coal Rollers in 3500s to awaken in the night sweating in terror of my decibels. I want a horn that will make the God of Thunder a little jealous.

How about annoying? Depends on if you like an out of tune La Cucaracha. Let's play all twenty while we are all barely moving in traffic.

Truly loud deep horns need a dedicated tank maintained by a compressor and infrequent discharge.

I use Hella SuperTones.  Pair of little circles easy to mount on a CSR in front of engine on chassis cross braces.  Excellent to getting slow cars out of the way on track!

You did read what I said before buying?  I said Hella Super Tones.  I suppose if you had a few you can pronounce that as PIAA?

Train horns are cool but you need compressed. In the bike world, the Stebel nautilus is pretty popular. Would probably work well on a 7.

Did you have to bump up the wire gauge with the Hella horns or was the factory wiring adequate?
