You know, as you read the replies it makes me see that the options and variants and specs are just as odd and quirky as the owners.

We resemble that remark!:hurray: Wouldn't have it any other way.

No matter what you choose, leave some budget room for upgrades. As soon as you start driving your new car, you will find things you want to fiddle with, no matter how it's equipped. Ask anyone here what their "upgrades accomplished" list looks like, or , worse yet, what their "upgrades still to do" list looks like. When I'm 3 years dead, my ghost will be fiddling with my car!

Size matters.

Birkin vs. WCM Ultralight.

What a great idea. I'm now looking for some big tractor tires, 5 foot long shocks, and a huge American flag to put on the back of my Ultralight. I may repaint it with the name "littlefoot" on the sides.

Maybe I can jump over 7 sevens at Log 29. Any volunteers? :jester: :jester:

If you jump over mine, it counts as 2

I've got a Birkin and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. It has it's flaws like anything else but overall I like it very much. I bought mine together and used but think about buying another at some point in kit form so I can make every little thing just how I'd like it.

FWIW I bought mine from Dick Brink in Texas and he was straight up and honest and I'd buy from him again.

Here's his site - I think he's got some used Birkins now.

Wow, that's amazing that there is that much difference in size between the Ultralite and Birkin. Everytime I walk out in the garage and see the Ultralite I'm shocked at what a tiny little car it is. Obviously a matter of perspective.
