Advertise it for months then only put it up for bid for a few days with no warning. Another youtuber (the "I do cars" guy) had high bid at the same amount for the same car 3 different times before Copart finally relented and let him have it. Cueball1 Posted April 27 Share Posted April 27 It's a design that predates the 7. Wouldn't be hard to imagine it was possibly inspiration for the lotus design. One of 6 "continuation" builds by the son of the original manufacturer. Like it or not it's an interesting story and a car with a lengthy racing history. All first class workmanship and parts on the Kurtis. They won the Carrera Panamericana in one. Jon built Trans Am cars in the 60s, Jerry Titus's Firebird +. Then he moved into building custom cars for Hollywood movies. Last I heard, he went for stability and had an equipment rental business in Pampa!! Good folks.
