Gee Shane, can't tell if it's the threats or the freezing temps making me shiver.

I'll have to make sure Rosemarie snuggles close for the next few nights...

Such hardship!

Paul, I have very little control over Suave's actions. Be on alert for storks posing as Tupperware salesmen and bearing gifts from afar. :D

Lovely photo on Bring a Trailer. http://bringatrailer.com/2015/03/26/1961-lotus-super-seven/

This 1961 Lotus Super Seven runs a Cosworth spec Ford 1500 four and 4-speed Quaife gearbox, the seller further describing it as a period-correct build with 120 HP on tap. Race ready, it’s sold with a CVAR logbook but remains street licensed and road legal. We dig the classic, polished sheet metal/green/yellow/red color combo, and Brooklands screens and Minilites are also very good choices. Find it here on Hemmings in San Antonio, Texas for $33,900.

Lemmings has a few cars this week. Here is a Stalker

This is one of the many professionally designed replicas of the 1962 Lotus 7. The car was designed in Florida and is known as a 'Super Stalker' This is frame #154 and was built in 2011. Car was built in Arizona in 2012, and lived its entire life in that state. It has an Arizona VIN number, and is registered as a 1962 Lotus 7.

The Super Stalker uses a 3.8L V6 motor which is supercharged and fuel injected (GM L32). This car has been dyno'd to ensure tune and engine were performing as advertised. Horsepower is 260 and torque is 280 ft. lbs. Some upgrades have been done to the car after having car registered and started operation on the road. This inculdes installing a custom oil pan with baffles and windage tray. Also, construction and installation of custom aluminum fuel tank with baffles.

Car will be sold with many spare parts and a collection of tires and wheels. Wheels: 9 15x7 aluminum alloy wheels that have a set of street tires on 4 wheels. A set of high grip, DOT legal tires on 4 wheels. Then 1 extra wheel that has nothing on it. Two sets of springs for fronts and rears to adjust for a bit smoother ride on road, or stiffer suspension for better performance.

When full of fuel/water/oil and with no driver, the car weights 1,570 lbs. This Super Stalker has power steering and a 5 speed manual transmission. Frame was powder coated during construction and the exhaust is ceramic coated black.

And here is something really different - a 1978 Blakely Bearcat, in the words of the seller, "a street version of the Lotus 7"

Rare 1978 Blakely Bearcat S Only 48 factory cars built, this is #19 with 18,000 miles, this car is thought to have been the factory demo. Sold to a Doctor in La Crosse who bought it in 1989. Recent carbuerator rebuild and tune-up. This is not a MG replica. it was designed to be a street version of the Lotus 7, with working doors and a usible trunk. Dick Blakely started to offer Lotus 7-style kit cars, called the Bantam, in 1972 in Love Park, Illinois, and in 1975 began offering a more civilized version called the Bearcat. A significant feature was that the fiberglass body and fenders used a PVC foam core sandwich type of construction that added considerably to overall strength and ruggedness of the Blakley car.

It has Fiberglass body on a specially built frame of box steel tubing. Custom front suspension. Ford 2.3 liter OHV. motor with custom header, chrome valve cover and air cleaner, a 390 CFM Holley 4 bbl with a Offenhauser dual plane manifold. Automatic transmission, Ford differential, rack and pinion steering with front disc brakes. Newer tires with less than 100 miles on silver turbine alloy wheels. .

Red with tan interior and white convertible top with soft side windows, back window and sides are plastic and in like new condition, also has full cockpit tonneau cover, with head rest pockets. AM/FM Cass with built in speakers, tilt wheel. The seats and wheels on the car were a upgraded "factory option" Brand new radiator and hoses. Custom, Hand Crafted factory built Car. Finished in deep red with white Vinyl convertible top. . One of it's greatest attributes is the leg room, a six foot tall man, 225Lbs can fit and drive it comfortably. Only 3 models were made with fiberglass bodies & separate steel tube frames (as this one is). Car has seat belts - Turn signals - Pioneer radio with cassette player & two speakers two speed wipers (3 blades) - Halogen headlights, Leather wrapped steering wheel,

The Bearcat. has a unique appearance, not closely modeled on any of the classic sports cars usually providing inspiration to kit car designers. It is much better suited to regular street use by virtue of its more spacious cab, adjustable seats, doors, soft-top, and rear trunk. Blakely Auto Works (also called Bernardi Auto Works in later years) was a manufacturer of automobiles and of kit cars, working from premises located in a series of US midwest communities including Princeton, Wisconsin in the 1970s and 1980s. Blakely produced several kit car models, the Bantam, Bearcat, and Bernardi.

I do appreciate anything advertised with 666. Hopefully I'll find time to have a dedicate track car.

When I bought the '94 Supra in '98 the battery was removed (during the first of many subsequent modification) which resulted in the radio being reset. Fortunately the radio had a three number code with only one obvious selection which turned out to be correct. Thankfully the previous owner had a similar sense of humor.

Nice spot Bill! The problem is that it costs a bit more than his storker is worth right now since it has the intrinsic value of a 16 foot long boat anchor.

So I was thinking this was probably more apt?

Fetching shade of silver. Stick shift. Air con blows anything but him. 2.3 4cyl which sounds close to my Cosworth Duratec in volumetric performance. Faster than my Caterham when its standing still and while thousands of little nylons were mercilessly killed in making that interior I rest easy knowing that Shane is well protected by lots of steel should he (and Jefferson) next try imitating being Bo and Luke Duke in a Dodgy Charger.:jester:

HHHmmmmmm, good choice, and it has two, I mean three things going for it.

1: It's safer then the storker

2: It's prettier than the storker

3: His wifey might let him actually go racing in this one
