  1. That is funny....wounder if they ever ran that on TV as I do not recall seeing it before.
  2. Ruadhd2, You should also look at the Porsche Cayman (think hardtop Boxter with 996 looks). The Cayman is mid engine two place Porsche that looks better than a Boxter and comes in both automatic an manual transmit ions (the PDK paddle shifter automatic is faster than the manual and can be driven like a manual). Look for the S model as they have the best of all the components and will out handle most 911's and base 996's yet drive like a nice highway curser also they are not as expensive to purchase or maintain. Here is a link with some info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_Cayman PS: I am partial to Porsche's and have owned one or more for the last 41yrs and at one point had nine Porsches at one time and still have one today that I purchased new in 1970. (914-6)
  3. Now that is funny.....

This is a good one also. YouTube - Corona Extra "Football Trick"
  5. Made of STEEL....
  6. Now that is service. I do not belive that many people in business would give away their source like WestTexasS2K just did when one could have said that they would have sold you one. I do not think Caterham or Westfield or any other manufacture would have done that for one of their clients but I might be wrong.
  7. I like it at the end when the RC model pulls up next to the bike and the rider looks down as if to say WTF......still laughing....
  8. Jon W., That is one nice Clone Atom. I can remember sitting in your car when you were building it in your garage. Sure has come a long way and from what I can see your craftsmanship has become even better with time. I think your car looks better than the real Atom but that is just my belief. Sure looks good.
  9. Yep that is the way we roll out here in California. I do not even have a top for my 7. Today in Ventura it was 72 degrees and very sunny with clear skies. Tommorow it is going to be 80+ degrees and clear skies.
  10. That is HARSH but funny.....
  11. I found this on another forum and found it to be very interesting and figured that a lot of you would also find it interesting. Very interesting objects. All wind powered. " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>

    That is funny.
  15. Have to agree Mazda. I believe our society as a whole really has no clue as to what is really going on in conflict zones around the world because our News Media is incapable of telling it like it really happens or if they do they just put out the sensational parts of the news because that sells and they need the ratings or they will not be around very long. I also believe our society has forgotten the overall reason is that our soldiers are doing the job they are doing which is providing security to our country and the people of the world. The fact that most of our soldiers are doing more for the people of the regions that they are deployed to (such as providing security patrols, opening up schools, rebuilding infrastructure and such in areas were without the patrols there would be just lawlessness) just does not sell or make for good ratings as that is not very sensational. I also believe our Government has not made it very easy for the News Media to get first hand information for security reasons which I also think is a smart thing for our soldiers safety and the well being of our population. My brother has told me that he can remember watching the Evening News with my parents during the Vietnam Conflict to see if they could catch a glimpse of me in the news footage as letters were far a few mainly due to me and it not being a priority for me at the time. During WW2 most major battle fronts had reporters and photographers within the units to document just what was happening. They did not have the instant news ability that our news media has today so things were even screened and even censored back then which most people never considered during that time as people were more trusting of what they were told. In Desert Storm there were a few News Personal that were entrenched with the Military units during those campaigns but that was stopped due to the fear that our News Media was being used by the opposition to figure out where our Military Troops where and what they were going after and where they were located. I also think most Americans and people of the world have no clue or appreciation for what our US Military really dose for the American public and the worlds public when they are deployed anywhere in the world but then I have been there as a carrier service person so I am a bit bass I guess.
  16. Well this is interesting 260+ MPH in a car that is street legal and you can buy if you have enough money, 1.6 Million Pounds or $2586400.00 US Dollars. The tires alone cost over $32000 US Dollars, more than I could afford for sure. http://biertijd.com/mediaplayer/?itemid=21927
  17. Oh man that is funny.....sorry for being insensitive but that is funny.....
  18. Your 7 should sell fast as it is great looking in that color combination and looks like new.

  21. Look up DARPA URBAN CHALLANGE they are coming when tech catches up.
  22. Well I know how all the folks on the east coast feel as I was lucky to get out of Philadelphia on flight to the west cost Wednesday morning. It took 4+ hours to get from Homeville, PA. to the Philadelphia airport in my brothers jeep and it is only an hour drive on a normal day. Weather conditions did get worse as the day progressed and I am just glad to have been lucky to have had an early flight even thoughit was delayed by an hour. This is what it looked like at my brothers home at 7:30am on Wednesday and the Jeep that got me to the airport and out his front yard. Hope eveyone is doing OK and not stuck in the snow back their.
  23. If you want I live in Ventura and have a scratch built. Heck I even let you drive it. Send me a PM and we can arange a time.
  24. The comment in the upper left is funny.....
  25. I use a convex mirror designed for use in a mini van to see the kids in the backseat. It is suction cup mounted and adjustable so you can position it to see clearly. Here is a photo of it on my car. Works well and was inexpensive.
