That is funny. Friends of ours have one in their backyard next to their pool (not as large) in a flower bed as a joke and their dog always barks at it whenever they let the dog into the area by the pool which is actually funny when you think about it as there are not croc's outside of the zoo in this climate zone as it is just to dry. They purchased their concrete croc at the local Green Thumb plant store so they are out there.

You might want to look through the Moss Motors Catalog and Vitoria British Catalog to see if you can match them up. It might also help to post a photo of what you have to help identify it.

Just looked at the photos and it looks like the person who is doing the repair is doing a good job of it and rather quickly.

Here is what they need as seen in another clip. Just kidding but it would not have bottomed out.

Kitcat, Check for loose electrical connections to the ignition system even the key switch. Hope this helps and you find what is giving you issues.

I bet your wife would think it is cool and would still keep you even though none of us to my knowledge have that talent or at least the ability to produce a proposal like that..... OK maybe a couple of us do but defiantly not me.... I will be looking to see just what movies that young man produces in the future as he sure dose have the talent and know how it seems.

Hi twobone, About the only a couple of things that could cause the filter to leak at the base. One is if you did not get the old filters gasket off the mount as they sometimes stick to the mating surface. The second is if the new filters gasket did not stay in place when you where installing the new filter to the mount. Best thing to do would be to remove the filter and look to see if either of these things have occured and if so just replace the filter and gasket. Your oil filter should be tightened by hand till it is snug and then about an eigth of a turn more by hand if I am not mistaken. As for the spilled oil it is a good rust preventer and most british cars do leak and leave spots where they are parked.....kinda like a dog marking its area.....just kidding on the spots and marking its place.

Before pulling everything apart you might wan to check the fluid levels in the trans and diff. You might also want to check the CV joints as the will make a grinding noise if the boot has been split and the grease is missing or they could be worn out. Hope this helps and you get it figured out as it is just part of 7 ownership and what make them so fun.

That could be it....I just do not remember it being an amusment park back in the early 70's but then again things do change. I need to show it to my better half as she has a lot better memory than I...just don't tell her that.....

Talking to my wife and after showing her the clip of the model airport she thinks the name of the place was Baconfield or something like that and she says it was about an hours drive to the place after we left Abington....sure was a longtime ago....sure would be neat to go see it again if we get back to England someday.
