  1. This thread sounds as if it is a sales pitch for the X-Bow which I have to say is a neat looking vehicle.
  2. KiwiBirkin, How are thing going for you and your family. I hope things are starting to settle and more stability to the daily norm is occurring for you and your fellow countrymen. The News here in the states is not saying a whole lot about how things are progressing and that most of old town Christchurch will most likely need to be taken down and rebuilt due to the destruction that has occurred because of the resent quake. Stay safe and keep us posted as to how things are going.
  3. You know I feel sorry for this individual (DB7, BurneyS1, etc) as he most likely has a problem and it take all kinds of people to run the world including me but we as a group should not belittle this person only because it is not the way that anyone should be treated that has a mental problem but that is just my belief. Thanks to the administrators for keeping up with the forum and keeping it civil for most of us.
  4. Hank, The wadding that is in the blank can inflict serious damage that close especially if it were to hit an area like the face or back of the neck. Some blanks have a small plastic seal plug some have a cardboard plug some have a wax plug and some larger shell cases are crimped to keep the powder from falling out of the shell casing.
  5. He most likely did not realize what had just happened and how close to death he had just come...... One LUCKY person.
  6. That is funny....:smilielol5:
  7. Now that is funny S1Steve. Hope you get better soon Brunny...:smilielol5:
  8. That is funny.
  9. KiwiBirkin, Hope you and your family are OK and safe.
  10. Workmate inventor who made DIY possible for millions is dead at 78 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1358121/Workmate-inventor-DIY-possible-millions-dead-78.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
  11. Those are both great video's. The Shell commercial is one of the best in my belief especially having traveled to all those places and knowing just how much effort must have gone into getting the streets clear of traffic for the filming of that commercial besides getting the use of those cars from Ferrari. Very cool to say the least.
  12. That is ture TALENT and funny.
  13. Not a BLUE MOVIE but a YELLOW MOVIE.....:smilielol5:Looking forward to a Yellow Peep Show....:smilielol5::rofl:
  14. Hi Adam, I just googled "Duratec Intake o-ring size" and it appears to be a 2" o-ring. I would measure the old o-ring ID and OD and cross section width and then use the Parker O-Ring catolog to find the closest o-ring that fits. You might want to look at the temp range and slect the correct o-ring based on the size and tempature range most likely a Viton 2-136 found on page 228 of the catolog link that is below. http://www.parker.com/literature/ORD%205700%20Parker_O-Ring_Handbook.pdf Hope this helps.
  15. That is funny....wounder if they ever ran that on TV as I do not recall seeing it before.
  16. Ruadhd2, You should also look at the Porsche Cayman (think hardtop Boxter with 996 looks). The Cayman is mid engine two place Porsche that looks better than a Boxter and comes in both automatic an manual transmit ions (the PDK paddle shifter automatic is faster than the manual and can be driven like a manual). Look for the S model as they have the best of all the components and will out handle most 911's and base 996's yet drive like a nice highway curser also they are not as expensive to purchase or maintain. Here is a link with some info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_Cayman PS: I am partial to Porsche's and have owned one or more for the last 41yrs and at one point had nine Porsches at one time and still have one today that I purchased new in 1970. (914-6)
  17. Now that is funny.....

  19. Made of STEEL....
  20. Now that is service. I do not belive that many people in business would give away their source like WestTexasS2K just did when one could have said that they would have sold you one. I do not think Caterham or Westfield or any other manufacture would have done that for one of their clients but I might be wrong.
  21. I like it at the end when the RC model pulls up next to the bike and the rider looks down as if to say WTF......still laughing....
  22. Jon W., That is one nice Clone Atom. I can remember sitting in your car when you were building it in your garage. Sure has come a long way and from what I can see your craftsmanship has become even better with time. I think your car looks better than the real Atom but that is just my belief. Sure looks good.
  23. Yep that is the way we roll out here in California. I do not even have a top for my 7. Today in Ventura it was 72 degrees and very sunny with clear skies. Tommorow it is going to be 80+ degrees and clear skies.
  24. That is HARSH but funny.....
