  1. Hi Al, Has a date been set as of yet or is it still up in the air.
  2. Hi Paul, Is that a wood dash. If so post some more photos please.
  3. Stan, How much due you need as I have some in my shop....PM me and we can figure out how to get it to you. :7fume:
  4. Wow that is one great shot.
  5. I like the photo were it looks like you are leaving the trailer area to head out to take care of business. Michelle looks like she is a little sun burned in the backround. Glad to see you seem to have done well and are heading home.
  6. Hi Morgan, I see you removed the front license plate mounts since Sunday. Nice photos by the way.
  7. Well today was and is a great day for driving your 7, boy do I ever wish that my car was fixed and running now. Here are a couple of photos of several 7s that showed up for Super Car Sunday in Calabasis today with one particular Orange Super Light 7 that did live in NJ just a couple of weeks ago. http://picasaweb.google.com/MHKflyer52/SuperCarsSundayAnd7S Al, Morgan realy likes Orange and stated that he finds it to be very fast and well built. I have to agree with him.
  8. LOOKS more like the effect of LOTS of HP an TRACTION to me instead of wheel bounce. Go get them Kevin. Thanks for keeping us all up to date with your adventure.
  9. Try spacing the ECU away from the bulkhead on some spacers to let what air flow you have their get behind it. You can always add a little electric fan like the kind that are found in computers to help move the air around the ECU.
  10. That is wild and crazy at the same time. I like it. Dose your face hurt from that smile you can see when you walk away from the FRANKLIN 7 after that short engine run.
  11. I can not belive someone from Washington is saying that Oregon might be wet and cold in October, that is one of the reasons why my wife and I moved back to SoCal from the Portland Oregon area besides SoCal is the only place that a 7 can be driven 360+ days a year. You due have to service it during those 5 days that you don't drive it....
  12. Did the duck tape make you duck when it departed the hood. I know it would have made me duck. I see you have added some color to your car and it looks good.
  13. Very nice. I can picture the smile you have on your face after your 7 moved it under it's own power after all that time.
  14. I was also thinking that you might want to make some new peddle arms that would move the clutch and brake to the left more. The prake peddle could then be positioned on the left of the steering shaft and the clutch could go a lot closer to the outside frame tube and you would not have to change the peddle mount assembely and its location. Fairly easy and not all that expensive to due.
  15. Hi Dave, Very nice photos. That field is flatter and smoother than most roads around the area that I live. What is the tube on the lower left front under the nose cone.
  16. I was keeping my mug shut as that is for Morgan to say and just pulling your chain Mazda....no disrepect intended to either party.:jester:
  17. Hi Morgan, Guess Mr. Orange did not break down on you and Mazda is just toying with everyone. But if you did what happened.....run out of gas due to driving to much....
  18. Are you serious or just pulling everyones leg.
  19. Here is a link to USA Radiator that might help. http://www.usaradiator.com/
  20. Thanks Tom. That means a lot coming from someone like you. When I started building my car I decided to mark the calander in my shop and when I was finished I counted the number of marks which actualy took two calanders (18 months) and found that I actually had 89 days marked off in that 18 month time frame. If I worked on it for 5 min I marked the calander and counted it as a day, their were a lot of days that I never had the time to work on it after the first week due to starting and running a new business that I had just started and built up also during that time and which I have since sold. I know it seems hard to belive but my basic frame only took 19 hours to put together and have sitting on the shop floor, the only way I know this is I ordered the steel on a Monday and it arived at my shop on Wednesday at 7am and at about 1145 pm that Wednesday my wife came into the shop to ask me if I was coming home or spending the night at the shop, neadless to say I went home and the next day about noon I actually took the photos of the frame on the shop floor. Things that I purchased: Nose cone, Gas tank, Two seats and of course the small stuf like lights and switches. Used an MGB for the engine and trans and front and rear breaks but built everything else in my shop by hand.
