  1. Buzz Dillion lives in Austin he has an S2k and an Elise. His Ultralite is still in Houston but I expect he will have it up there shortly. He is very hard person to get in touch with. I dont think he visits this site very often but I can probably get the two of you together in the future. Buz is looking at coming to the Hill County event.
  2. I rode motorcycle trials for 4 years and thought I was doing good to make a 4' step . Those guys are amazing on those bikes.
  3. Mojo is currently in GA and you can go see and ride if you like. The engine in it is a little damaged but it runs good enough to give you an idea of what it is like. It will be making its way back to Tx in the next week or so. PM me if you want to go see.
  4. mcneil I will be selling my Ultralite S2k ( aka Mojo) chassis coming up for sale in about another month or so. We are currently building another chassis for this coming race season. Mojo will pretty much be a roller chassis it will need pedal assy, seats, radiator engine trans. The suspension will be intact probably will include wheels and tires with it as well. You can put the Busa engine in the car if you like. Brian has done several of those in the past. Or put the Honda engine in it. It will be pretty much be wired with lights, fuel cell etc. Havent thought alot about what to sell it for, but it is a good car with no major problems with the chassis or suspension. We were going to refresh it and sell it as a complete runner but we have two cars to build this year and a refresh is unlikely right now. It would be a good canidate for what you are looking for. PM me if you would like what I am thinking for selling price. We are just building a vehicle with a bigger cage for saftey issues is the only reason we are selling MOJO. it is the picture in my Avatar
  5. T56 started in 94 the ZF was prior. From what I recall. Researched these dudes alot when I put the T56 in my Z car behind the 69 396 BBC.
  6. Slngsht didnt the c4 vettes have the standeard T56 tranny connected to the engine? The rear diff set up came in the C5 version didnt it?
  7. Yeah there is plenty to stop and see get out and stretch your legs. We are going to stop and eat, there is a state park that you can get out and visit. There are several small towns to browse around in. We will also be stopping by a winery the first day. The second day we will stop and look at a mini stonehinge, stop for best apple pie in the state. It is going to be a leisurely pace with plenty of time to stop and rest your butt. There will be parts of the route that you could short cut back to town if you have had your fill.
  8.
  9. Now that guy knows how to have fun.
  10. Dont forget Texas Hill country tour in April.
  11. Yeah it was amazing he was barely bleeding it just missed his spine by about 2 in. his intestines just moved out of the way they were not damaged at all. He had a small laceration on his kidney and a big hole in front and back, but he was out of the hospital in 3 days.
  12. Seeing that reminded me of a medical run we went on about 8 years ago on a ranch. I guy that works for an oil company was heading out to check a well. There was a pipe that is hinged on a 10" steel post about 24" high and 20' long. He was driving down the road about 60 mph a gust of wind swung the post in front of him. It went in thru his headlight thru the cab, thru him and the seat, out the back of the quad cab and into the bed of the truck. It took us 1 hr to extricate him from the truck and transport to the hospital. He made a full recovery unbeleivable but true.
  13. The Imagine wheels in the uk make some nice ones but they are very expensive 2000 a set. I just bought some Team Dynamics 1.2 wheels in 17x8 and 17x9 the 17x9 weigh 17.5 lbs 15" should be much lighter. They have just about any bolt pattern and offset available. http://www.teamdynamicsracing.com/competition_wheels.htm They are resonable in price about 840.00 a set. for the 17s the 15 likely cheaper. They are made in the UK and the quality is very good.
  14. Never try to follow a 7 in any mere mortal car.
  15. Congrats, at least you will have a good (interesting) story to go along with your purchase of the car. So you are an official :7head:
  16. Anybody elses watch not keeping time? Mine loses about 5 min every few hours. I replaced the battery and still having trouble. Anyone else?
  17. I would be game for anything other than Minnasota. That is about 2000 + miles for me. I will be game for most anything 1000-1500 mile range. I havent been to Yellowstone since I was a tot. That would provide a great excuse to go to the area and what better way to see it than a 7. Ozarks sound like fun as does Colorado. I have never been to the Black hills either so that sounds like fun too. Have car will travel to most places.
  18. Bob that is pretty sharp. It certianly is much lower and lighter than the Shredder. But it is still powered by a Harley engine. I would have to ditch the harley engine and go with a Ducati or something different.
  19. Kevin and I had thought about doing this about 6 months ago. I guess we were a little late with our idea. Check out the gallery for the Shredder F80 http://www.bourgets.com/home.htm
  20. I have been watching this for a bit. It is going to be a poor boys Atom. It is being built by Race Car Replicas they build really nice GT40 and Porsche 917. They are going to introduce the car in kit form for 15995.00 comes complete with everything but tires/engine/trans. You can use any fwd engine combo to install in the car. It should weigh about 1032 for the kit. They have a few different body packages that come with it. I like the F1 style but they have a retrom formula looking front available too. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/2127988620_latestsl_r.jpghttp://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1307587085_SLR retro.jpg Thought folks here might like this.
  21. looks like you got it down pretty good to me. Sent you a PM.
  22. :hurray: Got mine today too.:hurray: Thank you.
  23. gwar1000 are you doing the designs for this car? These are really nice renderings. Are you drawing them or using asome type of cad system?
  24. Dino I dont think anyone was being malitias with intent of leaving you out of the discussion. They just were naming some of the more widely known names. Because anyone that has seen the Deman cant say that it isnt a very nice car. I was very impressed with the quality of your car when I saw it at R&G and Kevin raves about how solid the car felt when he drove it. Your car is just a little newer to the market and hasnt been seen as much as some of the others. Keep up the hard work in 5 years people will be putting the Deman in there with the rest group. Dont take it personally.
  25. Man you are more patient than me. I would be on a plane knocking on someones door. I wouldnt hesitate to contact a lawyer in Austin if you have held up to your end of the deal and have already sent them money. Man that get my blood boiling and I dont even know you. Just hate to see a fellow sevener get the run around.
