  1. Looks like Mazda will be keeping Frankn7, should be interesting to see how it evolves during this next generation of makeovers. Also looks like Frankn7 2.0 may begin around the same time :cooldude:
  2. Mazda just called.....should I buy this car?
  3. Turned my stomach to watch some of those wrecks.
  4. I'm anxious(the nervous kind) to see what all is damaged. I heard 2nd hand that the shifter is not where it used to be I'm hoping the engine/trans/driveline/etc didn't suffer any damage. You know, thinking back, the front end of the chassis was really all that was left from the original Rotus. I think the car just wanted to be 100% built by us
  5. They cheated, they used a Clubman!
  6. Or raise the top rails and design your bracing to go through the headers. Then split the headers at the flange b/w the front 2 tubes and the rear 2 tubes. I say this because I don't think I'd want to give up any rigidity in the chassis by making the section height shorter.
  7. You been in my head today? I was re-pondering this at lunch! LOL
  8. Jerry, this is awesome! How do you like your torchmate!? I have a 2'x4' model that I bought for hobby/side job use. In case you were unaware, there is a support forum for Torchmate's on http://www.pirate4x4.com/forums It's near the top, under "Vendor Forums"
  9. What is this mesh you speak of? Sounds like it would cut down on airflow and add weight
  10. After a nearly roasted hub and a blow-out on the trailer towing Frankn7 up to Philly today, I got to go for a nice 2 hour bla(s)t over to my friend's shop in South Jersey.
  11. That was straight Dukes of Hazzard until he hit the bridge abuttment
  12. 113mph last summer in Frankn7 before Mazda put the windscreen back on. It definitely had more, but the front end was twitchy and I ran out of gonads, i.e. the brain kicked in :leaving:
  13. I'm in love with the front, but the back needs some work IMHO.
  14. We have a roach coach that comes to the jobsite twice a day that's pretty good. Not really sure what the point of this thread is though
  15. The future of humans being mindless herds controlled by computers is self-evident in my opinion, it's only a matter of when.
  16. Before I even opened the link I knew the NSX would be on the list. One of my favorite "timeless" cars.
  17. I think we should just make it the dirty jokes section
  18. That was hilarious!
  19. Pretty sure that's me on the far right :seeya:
  20. Hah! I was looking at the pictures and trying to remember when Frankn7 looked that "finished". It's been a while :leaving:
  21. As a GC that does commercial work, I could totally picture one of my subs doing that
  22. I'm assuming the bottle has to be sideways?
  23. Are they really that much shorter than a Rotus? I need to get Mazda to take some measurements and give you a call.
  24. I wonder if an LS2 would fit :cooldude:
  25. Does anyone else see those pictures and see Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde?
