  1. This is coming up pretty fast guys. If you are planning on coming please go to the above link and tell Tundra you are coming. If you are not on that forum you can PM me and I will forward your info to Tundra. Tee shirts are being ordered if you want one. These gatherings are always a lot of fun and it does not matter what kind of se7en or other kind of car you drive. Hell we have even had jeeps and pickup trucks tag along. Hope to see you there. Russ
  2. My boy just landed a job at Amazon starting in June. So now I have another reason to go visit him.
  3. We have the MidWest Se7ens Gathering in Wisconsin in June. Everybody is welcome to come join us. All 7's are welcome. Even people who want one. http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=17803&hilit=midwest+gathering+2016 Russ
  4. Sweet!!! I wish I could get my car to sound like that. I always pictured you as an Australian with your forum name. LOL , Russ
  5. Bump!! I still need a bellhousing. If I can't find one I will take this on to a welder to see if he can fix it. Russ
  6. My 7 has trashed another bellhousing. I need a 1600cc xflow bellhousing for a British type 3 tranny and it must be cable actuated. Tks Russ
  7. OK guys, I am pleading for help. The starter has gone out on the 7 AGAIN!!! This will be the 6th one. I have maybe started the car 30 times since the starter was rebuilt. The motor is a newly build Ford Xflow 1600cc 771M block (Fiesta) with a Ford type 3 4speed (British) transmission. What in the world is going on? The starter spins but does not engage the flywheel. This is exactly what happened in October when it left me high and dry in Wisconsin. This is driving me crazy. I am afraid to drive my car for fear of it leaving me stranded. Russ
  8. I've seen Skip drive. He is going to need a speedo that reads a LOT more than 100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. British Pinto and the American Pinto motors are completely different motors. Russ
  10. But that is not 1600cc. That would be a 2000cc or 2300cc.
  11. Interesting motor. It in not a Kent crossflow. Carb on the wrong side. Might be a bear finding parts for. Russ
  12. I've seen this car at a few of our Midwest Gatherings and it is a fast, good looking, car. Russ
  13. Welcome Chris. Where are you located? Russ
  14. On my locost it is the alternator light. On when just started and off after the rpm goes up. It came on solid when I lost a wire on the alternator. Russ
  15. In the US the 711m Kent was in early Pintos, a few Mustangs, and very early Capris. Mostly Pintos. Formula Ford guys snarfed up most of those. Ford Fiesta's(FWD) had the 771m Kent xflows in them. That is what I have in my Locost. 771m was a slightly stronger block but you have to be real careful what internals you put in it to make it RWD capable. Russ
  16. And a MerryMerryHappyHappy to you and everyone else. Russ
  17. Xflows never need oil!!!!! Yeah, right! That motor probably has a remote sump I'm guessing
  18. Sweet!!!! I just may give them a shout. Thanks, Russ

  25. Welcome to the mad house. Can't help you on the Fejer problems but get her running this winter and come to the Midwest Se7ens Gathering in the late spring or early summer. I hear it is going to be near LaCross, WI in 2016. Russ
