    xmas gift

On the last day of school before Christmas vacation, the children brought > gifts for their teacher. > > > The supermarket manager's daughter brought the teacher a basket of > assorted fruit. > > > The florist's son brought the teacher a bouquet of flowers. > > > The candy-store owner's daughter gave the teacher a pretty box of candy. > > > Then the liquor-store owner's son brought up a big, heavy box. > The teacher lifted it up and noticed that it was leaking a little bit. > She touched a drop of the liquid with her finger and tasted it. > "Is it wine?" she guessed. "No," the boy replied. > She tasted another drop and asked, "Champagne?. "No," said the little > boy.............. > > > > > "It's a puppy!" >

  4. As CEO of Lotus, I'd drive a more practical car daily as well.... but my garage would have at least one Lotus in it. Especially if I owned another competitor's car, like Ferrari.
  5. Boy, that article doesn't bode well for real Lotus car guys.... he doesn't even have one in his garage! And his focus is for the company to be in the clothes & trinket market... Hopefully, the article was just for the Fashion Section, hence all the focus on that junk. I guess he wants to copy the Ducati & Ferrari company model. But they race... I can't see people buying "Lotus" badged stuff without the company being in racing (and winning).
  6. Reminds of that galaxy on the cat collar from "Men in Black"
  7. Yep, old enough to remember that movie... just figured with your two-wheeled experience it would be difficult to not push a car this fun once in a while. Keep up the good work, anticipating a very nice 7

    fun to watch

Since we're on the subject of dirty minds... Plus, how did they hold the cat still for that (it doesn't look very happy)
  9. Guess you won't need a rearview mirror either... who cares what's behind you;)
  10. Nice work. I know your keeping it old school, are you going to have a rollbar?

Definately a test to see if your straight or gay. The girl in red makes me have nasty thoughts while the dude is just freaky. If you think the opposite...
  12. The zolfe's not bad... I like a more bulbous type flared fender. Just found this, looks like a pretty fun kit.. http://www.murtayausa.com/index.asp
  13. You forgot WCM. Loren (WestTexasS2K) could probably build you a very reliable S2K, with honda S2000 motor (can take to any honda dealer/specialist for motor/trans issues). All parts are in U.S. Downside - pretty much a fair weather car; no windshield wipers/heater etc.... though he could probably come up with that stuff if needed (that's where motorcycle gear comes in handy). As far as the Lotus, there's something to be said for a coupe with A/C & heat
  14. Welcome, The more I see these S1s, the more I like them... especially that orange color!
  15. SSgt. Giunta‏ and others talk about the event http://devour.com/video/medal-of-honor/ Keep our guys in your thoughts this holiday....
  16. Nice car! Funny, I was going to post a question about putting a strap (cable) on the rear shocks but thought it only applied to 4 wheel drive trucks.
  17. Hard to believe they're a 3 billion dollar operation let alone borrowing that much. Wonder how much went overseas... I've wondered lately if we'd been better off with a "trickle up" economy... where the priority for the country/economy is doing what's best for a strong middle class and our increase in wealth would benefit corporations (real demand/supply economics). If the last 20 years the wealth ratio was reversed and Wall St/CEO's profits were flat but the middle class enjoyed the increase in wealth what would our country look like.
  18. Welcome! Don't know what it is about bikes & 7s (and guys born in the 50s). Wasn't coordinated enough for trials but did a lot of Motox (up to the early 90s), desert & a little flattrack. Thought I was mature enough for a sportbike about 10 years ago. Survived 5 years in the foothills & trackdays but felt I was pushing my luck (too easy to go silly speeds). So enter S2K upon retirement in 2008. Most of us WMC guys are on here but if you want S2K specific info/help you can try this site too: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Ultralite_USA/ .
  19. Hopefully the 7 was one of the 3 (sounds like the Borg-collective) !
