  1. So is the Delorean's fusion reactor not working;)
  2. Nice job Newkurt! How much HP does that rotary make?
  3. "Be Prepared" (about 2 minutes in)
  4. I've always likes this one... my basic road going Ultralite & Kevin's "anything but basic" Ultralite ready for track duty. Thanks go to Rod (Locost 5.1) for taking the pic
  5. So now you got to squeeze in a larger supercharger... hope you have the room. Glad to hear no leaks and everything else seems to be working as planned. I'm sure you'll get it dialed in soon.
  6. New workout program... takes some effort leaning forward all the time
  7. There are a lot of other options as well that work to keep public parks clean/safe. Using examples of scumbags that work the system to deny something like healthcare to law abiding american citizens less fortunate than you is like throwing the baby out with the dirty water. Deal with the scumbags, don't kick those that are already down. You really think there are 30,000 million (30 billion?) without insurance or 30,000... big difference and both are way off the mark. I know we can argue numbers all day, but this seems to be more in the ballpark: "..Roughly 46.3 million people in the United States lacked coverage in 2008, the U.S. Census Bureau reported last week, up from 45.7 million in 2007..." That's a lot of people "who don't work, lazy and gets the free ride" in your words. I bet the majority work, are recently unemployed or have a disability. I've always thought there should be more incentives in government to weed out abuse or cut costs. We should let people (public and private) get a cut of any savings they can find. That's the capitalist way. The examples stated by you sound more like the meaning of "I got mine... screw you".
  8. That's funny. I bet they're really having fun... nothing to lose (except gas mileage).
  9. 113 degrees..... makes me feel right at home. Funny, actually hotter in LA than Bakersfield.
  10. Plus it looks like it could provide some shade & rain protection;)

I'll ask about a copy when I pick up the car this week. He asked me if I wanted open or closed loop (he said he could dial in the open loop more precisely). I chose closed loop (always get those confused) as I want the computer to adjust for elevation and heat... can't imagine it's that much of a difference with the ECU making changes.

Sorry, thought you were asking what sensor I bought. I have the "AEM Series 2 Plug and Play Standalone ECU EMS 30-6052". It doesn't come with the UEGO sensor.
  13. Kevin, I was thinking about high speeds in the 7 and thought perhaps you should add some caster to your alignment. It would make the steering a little heavier but it would be more stable and less "twitchy" at the high speeds your looking at doing. I'm no expert but you might ask someone who is and get their opinion.

To give you an idea of the previous tuner... he blew out my catalytic converter (not really needed but still) and messed up the AEM computer. To say I was pissed would be an understatement. Kind of mad at myself for not wanting to drive 3 hours to Bisimoto in the first place. But I felt like you, thought he could handle a stock honda motor. Luckily, I bought the AEM from Bisi and he had it repaired for free. He works with AEM and does a lot of the basic tunes for them... the ones that come pre-programmed to get you to the dyno shop for example. This tune was without the wide band hooked up (just plug and play to make sure everything worked)... hopefully that will be Monday. Don't know how much more he can get with extra fine tuning. I don't know what type it is.. basically AEM's in line Wide band sensor (didn't want another gauge in the dash): http://www.aemonly.com/wideband-air-fuel-85/aem-inline-wideband-controller-2080.html Loren, I mentioned your work on Mojito and Kenny Tran's assistance. Bisi and Kenny know each well. Honda recently gave Bisi one of their new 2011 CR-Zs to play with and debut at this year's SEMA. He designed/installed new crank, pistons, headwork etc along with turbo... probably shouldn't say more about the car but it's a pretty wicked motor. I also saw someone's S2000 motor he's working on and he hopes to get around 600hp with turbo set up. He said the S2000 head is super efficient and only needs stronger valve springs etc.. no machine work. Well now I know where to go when 216hp gets boring (and I have a big chunk of spare change).
  15. One of my favorite movie quotes is from "The Last Boyscout" with Bruce Willis. He's being tortured and the villain says "I'm going to make you cry". Bruce replies "play some rap"

Well it appears my VSS error code & limp mode issues have finally been resolved. And the stock S2000 motor, with AEM ECU, makes pretty good horsepower. Got this email today and pick it up next week. Should of taken it to Bisi a long time ago. He took care of some issues that my local dynoshop screwed up (long story)... From everything I've seen and heard, Bisimoto is a professional top notch place. Anyway, I'm very happy.
  17. It's just a little sarcasm about how Republicans, and some Democrats, are more interested in helping insurance companies (and their lobbyists) than the American people. When it comes to american's health, I'm a univeral healthcare commie, pinko, socialist... Part of the problem for business is that insurance for employees becomes a competitive tool and we get into a downward spiral as companies cut insurance like they did pensions/retirement benefits to compete with their peers. I don't even want to get into overseas labor issues. I think it would actually be better for businesses (at least home grown "small business") if this cost was the same for all employers. As long as we have "middle men" health insurance companies trying to provide the least care for the most profit (with the help of politicians from both sides) I'm not optimistic. This is a big healthcare change and it should be expected that things will need to be modified. We need good oversight too (another thing I have concerns about). Also, there's nothing that says private insurance companies can't offer higher care or fill in shortcomings with their policies. Bottom line, I'd rather have politicians answering to us rather than health insurance companies answering to their shareholders when it comes to something as important as healthcare. Ok, off my soapbox.
  18. Pretty much like all that.... except maybe jazz (probably just not familiar with a type I'd like). Lets not forget Pink Floyd and some new wave 80s stuff (The Cars, even DEVO). Like blues too (the kind you can't helping nodding your head to while listening to the guitar rip). The last couple years I've been listening to a lot of surfer music, mainly cause most of it is instrumental and I love that surf guitar reverb sound. It's upbeat and and sometimes quirky stuff. 19. WASHINGTON—Citing a mutually shared vision of health care in America, congressional Republicans and the deadly bone-marrow cancer leukemia announced a joint effort Wednesday to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the historic new bill that extends health benefits to 32 million Americans nationwide. "Republicans have no greater ally in this fight than leukemia," said Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC), who was flanked by Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH), and the abnormal increase in white blood cells. "Denying insurance to Americans with preexisting conditions and ensuring that low-income Americans stand no chance of receiving quality health care are just a few of the core beliefs that the GOP and leukemia share." "And believe me, if anyone is angrier than the Republican Party that children can no longer be denied coverage for having preexisting conditions, it's leukemia." DeMint continued. "We're a match made in heaven." In the coming weeks, Republicans and leukemia will travel the country in an effort to diminish support for the increasingly popular bill, which GOP sources said goes against everything that Republicans and the massive accumulation of toxic cells stand for. This bone marrow aspirate smear of precursor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia fully supports overturning the new legislation. According to party leaders, all forms of the deadly blood disorder, including T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia, hairy cell leukemia, and large granular lymphocytic leukemia will lend their support to the Republican effort. "I look around and I see Sen. Bob Bennett, Sen. Saxby Chambliss, eosinophilic and megakaryoblastic leukemia, and Sen. Pat Roberts, and I think, 'This is what the Republican Party is all about,'" Sen. McConnell said. "We don't like this new bill. We don't like that it will cut the national deficit by $1.3 trillion over the next 20 years. We don't like that it's now illegal for insurance companies to suddenly drop a parent for getting deathly ill. That's why we're so very proud to be working with leukemia." While chronic leukemia was reportedly worried about how its association with the Republican Party would affect its public image, the destructive pathogen was ultimately swayed by language in the final bill that offers small business owners tax incentives to provide health care to their employees. "Getting chronic on board was key," one Republican strategist said. "It made it politically viable for acute [leukemia] to join the repeal the effort." A longtime ally of the Republican Party, leukemia also supported GOP efforts to stop President Bill Clinton from passing sweeping health care reform in 1994. A decade later it endorsed President George W. Bush's Medicare legislation, which effectively forced many senior citizens to pay full cost for prescription drugs. And in 1971 it supported President Richard Nixon's escalation of the Vietnam War into Laos. "Leukemia has always been a disease that veers to the right," said Newsweek columnist Ezra Klein, adding that Republicans have also sought out the support of high-profile illnesses such as sickle-cell anemia, type 1 diabetes, and sepsis. "And at the end of the day, you can't ignore the fact that this deadly blood disorder has a lot to lose if the bill succeeds." Thus far, Republicans and leukemia are confident that the bill will be repealed. "In 2010 leukemia and the Republican Party will make history," a spokesman for the illness said. "Because years from now, when people look back and ask who was on the right side of the issue, they'll remember the day that Republicans and leukemia came together to make a real, permanent difference in the lives of millions of Americans."
  20. I agree, just paint it. Carbon is not that exotic anymore. To me, it's not really a wow thing. Plus, a lot of it is not UV protected and will get damaged by the sun.
  21. Yeah, too much info. And I too am amazed at how we can lose 3 cordless phones in the house. I've been forced to text on my cell at times and hate it. Email & cell phone (for talking) is really all I need. Plus, the cost for smart phones (internet etc..), cable TV & home internet, wireless router etc.. I'm paying close to $300 a month for "must have" stuff we didn't even think about as a kid... My kids can't fathom riding a bicycle just for fun. Recently used GPS and admit to liking it though.

  23. President Obama and VP Biden are sitting in a bar. A guy walks in and asks the barman, 'Isn't that Obama and Biden sitting over there?' The bartender says, 'Yep, that's them.' So the guy walks over and says, 'Wow, this is a real honor! What are you guys doing in here?' Obama says, 'We're planning WW III.' The guy says, 'Really? What's going to happen?' Biden says, 'Well, we're going to kill 140 million Muslims and one blonde with big tits.' The guy exclaimed, 'A blonde with big tits? Why kill a blonde with big tits?' Biden turns to Obama and says, 'See, I told you, no one gives a shit about the 140 million Muslims'
  24. Look forward to seeing the dynochart... and best of luck in Henderson!
