Note: to Mod, if this is not the right place I can delete this ad. Thank you for letting me post. 1999 LOTUS ESPRIT V8 TWIN TURBO THE ULTIMATE LOTUS ESPRIT UPGRADE ! Turn key -- nothing else to do. No mechanical issue. The car perform very strong & flawlessly. Can be driven in any destination you want. THE HISTORY: I bought the car in Irvine California - I am the second owner. The car has 43,000 in the odometer from the previous owner. It has a documented service log from Vikings Lotus motorsports (service log can be requested). The car now has 48,504 miles. I was not able to drive the car much due to an eye injury. I only put 5,000 miles for the past 9 years owning it. I noticed that I constantly adding an anti freeze. I never suspected of anything wrong with the car at the time. In the later part, the car gave up and spewing white smokes. I called Viking motorsports and dug the service record. The previous owner never told me that he overheated the car, slowly contaminated the piston liners. The car was re-build Sept. 2011 at 46,800 miles.& finished 2012. THE REBUILD: The engine was professionally rebuilt by one of the NASCAR engine builder in the Northeast. The engine was "BLUE PRINTED" and the tolerance & torque were documented. https://www.dropbox.com/s/f96fnv7qyxbg43p/EngineRebuild1.PDF?dl=0 The head was ported and blue printed. Utilized the flow of each port using flow bench for maximum power. https://www.dropbox.com/s/x70hqduzqqthvct/EngineRebuild2.PDF?dl=0 The engine is newly broke in and I put 1,704 miles after the rebuild. The GTO Engineering upgrade transmission and differential Quaife ATB was performed by a retired Tyrell formula 1 mechanic. THE PARTS: New 8 FORGED JE PISTONS. New JE Piston rings New head job (valve) New turbo New 8 Lotus cylinder head liners Replaced all gaskets New head gasket New valve springs New cylinder head valves (intake & exhaust) 3400 hylomar sealant New ARP block/head bolts New rod/journal bearings New heavy duty "blue" timing belt New timing belt tensioners New (2) ignition coils New sparkplug wire sets & plugs New Idle valve Replaced all fuel injection sensors Brand new (8) injectors New idle valve New hoses & clamps Replaced main seals & driveshaft seals THE UPGRADES: GTO ENGINEERING strong transmission upgrades (complete kits) QUAIFE ATB differential https://www.dropbox.com/s/2a2y72601xl2cyd/gtokit.jpg?dl=0 Two new upgrade Garrett turbo T28 upgrades Johan ECU chip (similar to Lotus red race ecu) AP Racing stage 3 clutch JE forged pistons & rings Eight Lotus Liners Air to air intercooler (simple - less complex & less something go wrong - functional) It has a custom stainless trunk – I can give you the original HKS blowoff valves (2) Four brand new goodyear EAGLE F1 ultra hi-performance tires Four new Lotus hard to get OZ Nova wheels 3 rows radiator Elise steering wheel conversion Round tail lights conversion LED Headlights - running light & fog light Rear diffuser Four brand new PROTECH adjustable springs & dampers (front 300lbs - rear 375lbs) Dual center exhaust system with cheese grater THE WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE CAR The exhaust a bit louder than the stock lotus system. There's a little scratch on the driver seat for going in and out...nothing major - no rip. I noticed last July that the Air conditioning is not working - probably need to charge with R134A freon. THE OWNER: I owned 6 Lotuses through out the years, I know the ill wind of the Lotus especially the Esprit by heart. I do all my maintenance and service. Although I never dyno the car, I can be best describe a ported head and the increase of boost will surely gets you at 450hp or over (RWHP) I spent over 30 grand on the upgrades & rebuild. I tried my best to be truthful & honest describing the car. You can visit & test the car anytime - I live in the Northeast (Connecticut) THE PRICE: $46,000.00 You can Text me @ eight six zero - eight three seven - three six five four I will entertain a REASONABLE OFFER but not the low baller. That's a good one too..but the design is not even close. The 1992 light car is way ahead on time design. 1950 look alike but gorgeous today.
-
-- simple but very elegant design are there similar kit other than Gordon Murray designed? Just curious

Yes croc its mine. For 2 years now im still having an eye problem, I have another eye surgery on december. Everytime I see you guys having fun racing in NJ, I feel sorry cause I can't do it. I dont want to kill any of you...lol Anyway, let someone enjoy the car. I will entertain any reasonable offer from my asking price of $31,995.00 I will be back. For the meantime I have to finish a single seater hayabusa forced induction project (formula type car). I will devote my time technically while fixing my screwed up vision. -

Yellow -- I think Robert is looking for this Porsche not the one you described -
So, tell us a little about yourselves

"When Jesse was having trouble joining the forum, I helped him under the condition that he makes a post stating that Westfield makes the best se7en" I second to that & I collaborated on the condition ! although I know that Westfield high school has the best band in Massachusetts......lol (is that the right spelling) -
"Does it have a particular destination/purpose?" I'm just arming for now, I have no definite project yet but lots of things in my mind. "I will say that Skip's club group was very inclusive - great bunch of people" Well, I hope it's true. LOCO perhaps more friendly....but not too sure in national event. Looking at the picture of the last log (34), seems their are only a handful of 7 out there & most are real 7. The pretenders are gone! Used to be a lot. http://www.nelli.org/Events but overall...we need to come back together - enjoy and hopefully i can bring a gallon of moonshine and drink together.

That was 1991 -- when they used to let me drink in their water fountain: lol
