  1. Thanks for the link Warren.....nice technical discussion.
  2. "The output shafts from the bike gearboxes were both chained to the propshaft." I assumed there are two sprocket chain to the propshaft? Wow..you are right shifting was a chore job. If one engine at the wrong gear and the other say at the 3rd or 4th, something catastrophic. But i'm sure there is a mechanism to prevent uneven shifting. I give a lot of credit how these farmers from the mid West engineered their machines
  3. So....throttle - gear shift - clutch linked into a single system. The 2 engine that I can't comprehend how you attach into "ONE" driveshaft (if using a conventional rear drive) or the sprocket gear (if using a chain driven bike engine). How is it possible to attach the 2 engine in one drivetrain or even two driveshaft. I'm sure there is a catastrophic will happen by doing this........thank you Warren. .....i'm just wondering.
  4. They have a new Tandem nemesis -- this is also in my radar but what do you think of the tandem Westtexas?

  6. Thank you.....I saw that video a while back. I'm sure they used a chain driven powertrain but I can't figure if they used two sprocket & how they mounted to the shaft to turn the wheels in harmony with the other engine.
  7. a two bike engine (say two hayabusa) in a racing car? I'm looking for some write up or a design procedure using two engines. I'm intrigue on how they transfer the power in a single stage or how they put the power in harmony - single accelerator - shifting two engines & the design of the two drivetrains. If you see a book, kindly share it to me. I just want to read.....I have no plan...promise.
  8. oh thank you ... i'm interested on lightweight nemesis - I think they have single seater and the other model is a back to back seat ??
  9. Superlite? I am interested of buying a track car. Just want to get a feedback on the company - support and parts availability. http://superlitecars.com/index.php/cars/nemesis#1728-n8
  10. My preference is supercharger.....I hate heat in the 7 engine bay. The power is linear - good for race track.
  11. Try to go to this site, they will help you identify that unit. http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/
  12. I like my Datsun Z (hahaha). That was 1970 when - 914 vs Datsun z I still have my original Z

  17. ....at the vintage? Aug. 28 - 29 Sept 1. never been there in a long long time & have not driven my Westfield in a long long time too due to eye injury. But my eye is half working now, better than Cranky's steering wheel.
  18. What happen when you are in WOT and the steering came off?
  19. ...no one knows except him -- that's the hardest part... guilt is not easy to deal with. he was doing the steering....not me. Race rage history is in his side

  21. I used to have $195.00 yearly from JC Taylor - not until I told them that I upgraded my engine to Honda s2000 and now I'm paying $305.00 a year. Well, atleast I told them the truth...just incase.
  22. I have a quiz for you: Who was the president when you left? Hahahahahaha!
  23. Yeah, I wish they explore the rotation close to a turbocharger but there's no way in the hell you can engineer an overdrive and spin it at 90,000 rpm (40,000 rpm @ turbo territory)....still, the system at the mercy of the belt and pulley size. The turbocharger are free wheeling system, some compressor in the hi-performance can go as much as 150,000 rpm. This Rotrex system simply produced air by ratio -- like my tuna fishing reel lol:: -- 15:1. I think the same concept. lol:
  24. Here is the Rotrex system: http://www.hotrod.com/techfaq/hrdp_0512_rotrex_supercharger/
