  1. RIP Mike. At one point we had the same kind of A/C. What a loss of a good person!
  2. I use the same. The wind bothers me much more than the exhaust.
  3. I purchased an aluminum 12' trailer W/O brakes, but with ramps attached. The E.W. was 585 LBS. After towing it on the open trailer twice I enclosed it and added surge disk brakes. The new weight was 985 LBS. I built it light with 1/16 wall one inch sq. tube and covered it with .020 clear Poly Carb. I tow it with a 2010 V.W. Jetta TDI wagon. It feels good loaded even at max speed. The brakes work great also.
  4. Sorry, I thought this was a spoof as a sale for a 7. The windshield is the only glass they could break.
  5. They would just break the windshield to get in!

    CA vs. AZ

They then ran back to the safe state of CA. to give birth to another. Back at you!

Sh**, now mechanical flies, what next mechanical Pit Bulls that also bark all night long??
  8. Mazda, thanks, 985 LBS. It pulls great, AVG 24 MPG @ 75+.
  9. My car is far from prestine, I washed it a week or two prior to Carlisle though. It was sure great seeing folks again and even a few new faces. 400 miles each way, with heavy rain on the way home. Gary
  10. We brought some Trail Baloney & Swiss cheese all cut up for you folks to chew on. Now at the Hampton Inn., 5.5 hour tow.
  11. Start flying full scale & you won't be working after the previous weekend's carnage.
  12. What a shot! Other than the conditions , 3 shots in a row that were spot on isn't luck! Those men need our thanks for their service, with out them our life would not be this good. Gary
  13. We will be staying at: Hampton Inn Carlisle 1164 Harrisburg Pike Carlisle, PA United States, 17013 Tel: 717-240-0200 Fax: 717-249-5145 I plan on Friday afternoon & Saturday at the event. Gary Cell: 330-704-5686
  14. I will watch the weather, if no rain, I'll try.
  15. Due to the drive, I plan on arriving Friday and departing Saturday PM. Gary
  16. I had a rod break in an over boosted (1.5 BAR) 911 turbo at night at max RPMs in 4th. As it was a cool fall night, I can tell you where all the oil smoke went. That rod also cut the engine apart. I had about 7 hours of run time on the engine at that time. Gary
  17. This in my plans again this year.
  18. Plans? May 21 - May 23, 2010 Who will be there at what time, days?

    FDA help

Kevin, Good luck in spending your cash to fight your tax $$$. Signed and passed on for others to do the same. Gary
  20. Jerry, I'm with you 100%. Those of us who pay for this are small in number, as to those who feel it is free to them. Gary
  21. At Cleveland,OH- Columbus,OH- Canton Akron, OH all 3 each has one like Atlanta chain is. Urbana, Salem, Carrolton, Batavia, Dayton, New Philadelphia, Portsmouth, Coshocton, Mansfield, OH, are just a few that are found in Ohio, that are small like at many airports around the country. I can also think of at least 6 around the Pittsburg area. The smaller ones mentioned here, you park you’re A/C in front and a few steps latter your inside. No security, or police state. The smaller ones here are not overpriced chains, just mom & pop places trying to make a living. At all, the owners & staff are friendly and the food is good. Like all of the small business around the country, if they provide a good product & service they thrive, if not they close, much like the way things should be.
  22. I agree on the senior 100 %. I had to trash a bright yellow Pantera to keep from killing both of us when one pulled out in front of me at the last second "1973". I had to trash my body and crotch rocket that had the bright lights on in the daytime for the same reason in 1986. Now I am one of the senior drivers, look out for the "7" with an lance mounted in the front as I scream down the road, my turn!
