    Worn out

Well, things were really looking up today. Last night after a 2nd CTScan, they decided to change antibiotics, and he responded really well. Temps went away. So we were really hopeful about his progress. But about half an hour ago, his temps started climbing again :banghead:
  2. all these ads are boring. Joe Isuzu rules. BTW, if you watch closely, you will see that Boxologist is doing some of the stunt driving in this ad... Can you tell me which part?

  4. someone else is bidding on the same car?
  5. Dermot, just to clarify, you have an open diff now, and when you put the power on coming out of a corner, you oversteer? If that's the case, any kind of LSD will make that condition worse.

well, so far antibiotics seemed to make an improvement at first, but temps have not stopped. Just did another CTScan, and abscess is still there. waiting for doc opinion on next steps

They are trying to not remove them. I guess jury is still out on that.
  8. At least you recognize it. My wife tells me I have that problem too

    Worn out

My older son, Cameron has been in the hospital for 3 days now, fighting an infection and abescess in his tunsils. :blueangel: Between that, work going crazy, and shuttling Ryan around, we're freaking worn out :ack: :ack: It's 9:30 in the morning but feels like 11 PM already. Time for a
  10. hmmm.... maybe we need a page that lists all topics and allows you to jump in, sort of an alternate view of the forum - yet allow topics to still stay in their sections. I'm completely booked the next two weeks, but this is doable.
  11. I don't enjoy autocrossing in rain either Try a 1 day autocross school on a dry day. If you don't like it after that, we can stick a fork in it.
  12. Too funny. You said that at the autox before our heat, and I was thinking to myself... what's he talking about, I can hear Jon's car idle just fine. Then I realized that was Norm's car on the far side
  13. It's a balancing game... On the one hand we don't want a bunch of dead sections, on the other hand, as J.R. points out, it's nice to have focused discussion groups (keep me away from the forced induction section - if Frankn7 doesn't kill me by then, my wife will). Mike, do you use the bottom right hand of the home page? It always lists the 10 most recent posts, regardless of section. That's where I go when I come to the site. Also, if you are interested in a particular area, but don't want to click there regularly, you can subscribe to that section and get an email whenever there is a new post.
  14. 28 new members in the last 16 days
  15. At the next autox, take her for a spin... er... i mean a run  She's actually quite easy to drive. The one thing you can't do in Frankn7 that I noticed from the vid of your run is anything close to powershifting. That's an automatic coaster ride. In fact, i'd like to trade rides. I've never driven another 7 :nonod:
  16. I came in last place in my class Jon's best run: 41.214 My best run: 41.271 :banghead: :leaving: Actually, I take that back... didn't see the 40.853
  17. I have learned to be patient and easy on the go pedal. Most people watch me and say let 'er rip (except Al  ) I just did a quick graph from my data acquisition system on run 5... Frame number is basically equivalent to time... vertical access is % throttle. As you can see, I never went wide open, and other than the last bit before the finish gate, didn't go past 65%. I just need some more room to stretch her legs :smash: http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/136977060_Run5.JPG

  19. Oh yeah, we were so busy all day... This pic will have to do for now: http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/ls1.jpg
  20. Enjoyed meeting you as well Martin. Your trip east was the catalyst that made me drag frankn7 out for a few runs. I missed the stalling part... funny story about that. last year I took an Evo autox school. One of the instructors ran a few laps in my car. After one of them he said the car "sounded" different that time. I told him it was because he started the run in third, and ran it in forth It didn't make much difference in his times because back then I used to run a 4:10 rear.
  21. You're not alone, and Gail and I are looking forward to seeing you guys again.
  22. Tom, when will the results be posted?
