  1. Gosh, thanks 🥴 Links like this one
  2. 🥴 thanks.
  3. Could someone ID this trailer?
  4. I was able to get zero Ethanol at a Philips 66 in Houston tonight at $3.40/gal. It is 87 octane. I could have gone further and gotten 90-92 but this is storage gas with Stabil added. It will probably be used in the lawnmower and generator. And for carb cleanings. @Carz01 thanks for the link.
  5. Have 4. Even if you could use 3, have 4.
  6. Floor jack, yes. This isn't a car you will want to take to the local service station. You need to do some things yourself, and a floor jack is among the most handy things. Probably the rear A frame bush, tyre rotations and oil changes will be the more common uses. And checking out the damage after going over a curb, lol. I actually did it. Being that low to the ground, it's not always obvious how deep a step or drop is until you go over it. Welcome to sevening! Those Allstar dollies do rotate to be perpendicular and flat. But, yes, it's not likely you will need them very often. They're expensive for a single time use item. The other dolly solution I like are these wheel dollies. I'm partial to one kind over the other. BOTH can slip out from under the wheel, but the diamond plate V type is far less stable. Once on the ground on its wheels, on these dollies, the 7 moves around easily.
  7. Is a synthetic lead substitute a proper abatement?
  8. This gives me pause about using plugs with the side electrodes like the NGK BPR6EKN. Then again, has anyone ever had this problem with an NGK plug?
  9. ^^ This^^ exactly! I'm in a two car garage and guess who is taking up the other side! When she's out I can spin 7 around to have access to what I need. Please don't do homemade rolling jackstands. I can put Beater on the ground while you do your build, yea, you can use my stands. Just have me around for the lowering and lift-off. I have a long reach floor jack, something else you need. IMHO. To be clear, lowering a 7 from 15 inches is done three inches at a time. Do you have 13 feet to rotate a 7?
  10. Pegasus
  11. I definitely support any unloading option thst doesn’t involve a forklift. Accidents. Bad word. Oops. Another bad word. Oh, Sh!t! Two bad words. I have seen plenty of accidents. Load that stuff in a large moving truck with a hydraulic lift on the tail. It can handle the engie. Every thing else can be unpacked in the truck box and walked off. If the crates are staged in a reasonable order, the chassis will be last and the wood can be cast to the front. Then all wood can be hauled off. Or made into cool man cave beer tables.
  12. I recommend the AllStar chassis dollies. I cut one in half and widened it 6" by inserting a 1.25" square tube. This is MSRP. Can find for less at Jegs and Summit. Buy one little thing and wait for the *% off coupon. Just get the seller to admit if the distributor has them in stock or if it's a drop ship from China. I'd pay more for any in stock. These will give you the height you need for the drop-in angle, and to crawl underneath to feed the propshaft, etc. Just pad the bars with cardboard so paint doesn't get scratched
  13. West Branch. Excellent, you can borrow my gantry crane for your engine install.
  14. Are all those wacks on the wall Wyobi?
  15. Not even if using a Pinto bell housing? I have one. Starter position 4 o'clock.
  16. An exhaust leak can allow oxygen to be pulled up into the hot spots and detonate.
  17. I have the deflectors. They don't do enough in my experience. They get in the way. My solution is to dress for the wind and sun. Long sleeves, vest, head cover, ear plugs, cords for my glasses. Pretty much what I would wear for a cycle ride, from the waist up. I think it's a lot easier to do this than re-engineer the car. I have wondered if creating a forward facing edge extending from the wind screen edge would create a spoiler effect?
  18. It's better to post a description of an item and let someone search for it. Months weeks, days from now, the link to the seller may not be valid. Or could be an impersonation scam.
  19. Oh sweet jeezus
  20. Damn, your car is nice, bro. I'm thinking of painting my alu. It would have to be a a colour easily touched up and available, like a long running rattle can colour.
  21. I'm thinking the same. I watched a half pound steel shard get kicked up, fly over several cars, and strike my truck hood, a few feet in front of me. Got it on dash cam too. Even with a wind screen, I would want some eye protection in case it got shattered and I had to punch it out to see. I know, it's a 7, whatever. Eye safety. The thing I remember the most, when I was driving, was how the top of my head was getting beaten up. I started wearing a welders bandanna. Hats didn't stay on too well.
  22. This is the golden boy, AX block. Very valuable. Get a head with it?
  23. I think the issue is that Burton said the filter orientation was more or less vertical, even gave a diagram. This would be incorrect, as the filter location is obstructing the engine mount. I wonder how this went wrong.
  24. I've been looking at helmet options. Not for protection, just for wind. I'm thinking some of the newer sky diving helmets are close to what I'm looking for. Just not sure how silly I'd look in it. But then, I'm in a ridiculous car anyways.
