  1. Here’s a link to the sevener.fr article @EdWillsreferred to https://sevener.fr/articles_redac/Design_Analysis_of_the_Lotus_Seven_S4_(Type_60).pdf
  2. @Exarkun1178 can you share the part number for the 10” wheel you ordered? I looked at the Moto-lita site and was unable to find it. Thanks!
  3. @Exarkun1178, Very cool, I’m going to look at that as an option for my 7. Please post a pic of the final install of the wheel and gauges
  4. Hi @stevehellosee if this helps you. @croc maybe add to files too. Thanks!
  5. I wish I had the budget for this….it would be great to have these as spares for my 1600 BDR
  6. Not a 7, but 7esque…posted to BAT https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1980-blakely-bantam/
  7. @Marek I believe UHaul rents the trailers for car moves, and they do one way.
  8. Diva, it’s in Croc’s repeat section.
  9. Yes please! Looks great.
  10. @Davemk1 I’ve used the Sprint Classic in 15” for one of my cars. I liked the drivability of the tire and didn’t mind the vintage look.
  11. I believe Nova has both sizes in a couple of variations. Not sure how available they are though. https://novamotorsport.com/tyres-results-page/?filters[tyre_construction][]=&filters[rim_diameter][]=13&filters[tyre_size][]=185%2F55R13 https://novamotorsport.com/tyres-results-page/?filters[tyre_construction][]=&filters[rim_diameter][]=13&filters[tyre_size][]=215%2F55R13
  12. I agree with @Marek, KTR is a great shop. I’ve used them in the past. They are busy, especially during race season.
  13. Nice S4 can you post a picture of your dash especially center switches?
  14. Are you able to post pictures?
  15. I can’t wait to see the documentation you have, and I’m certainly willing to be a caretaker of the originals since my car is a 1600 BDR. Sorry to hear winter has appeared early.
  16. I finished the polishing a few months ago and it still looks great. I want to get it a bit nicer, then think annual touch up as needed. i always keep it covered so i think that helps as well
  17. Well, that’s an interesting question. I started with Mothers but that didn’t provide the results I was looking for. After lots of trial products, I landed on Wolfgang Metal Polishing System, basically a corse, medium and fine polish system. It has a sealant as well. This was the only multi part system I found, and I’m happy so far. The corse did a great job tackling the heavy oxidation and letting the medium and fine do their job. it looks good, but I want to work on the finish a bit more.
  18. Enjoying a great fall drive
  19. I have a Lotus - Steel Brothers, S4. The vehicle is identical to the Lotus, as well as Caterham S4 cars. I have a list of the S4 chassis S/N Steel Brothers built from their Lotus supplied kits.
  20. 94 Westfield SEiW on BAT https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-westfield-seiw-lotus-seven-replica/
  21. I’ve used OWATROL Marine Polytrol which does a nice job bringing back the color and pretty long lasting
  22. I registered my 83 Caterham in Mass. no issues at all. Assuming you have a prior title if used, and RMV1 for registration it should be easy. The only question that came up was the VIN since it wasn’t standard, but it was accepted by the RMV.
  23. I highly recommend Hagerty as well, and have used them for many vehicles over time. One thing they’ve added which I like is the option to get the vehicle back at no added cost in the event of a write off. Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen!
  24. @PJJacksonnot sure where you are located but there’s a GBS currently for sale in CA maybe that’s close to you
