    Yes seen on a few cars of the era…my S4 7 and Jensen Healey also used this type of fuel cap.

    I was pondering why the lack of high octane on the route, and think the reason 93 Octane doesn’t exist on the route is probably due to the altitude of I-80 above sea level. I-80 varies from 4,000 to 7,000 feet, so at 4,000 feet 93 octane converts to an equivalent octane of 91, and at 7,000 it’s 89.5.

    I use the Pure Gas site, https://www.pure-gas.org and found it pretty accurate. You can check cities along your route.

    @Slonie I had something similar occur when I changed to LED’s. I’d suggest before chasing wires to change the bulbs back to make sure the wiring is ok and everything works correctly. You might change the bulbs one at a time to test. In my case changing back to non-LED proved everything worked, correctly flashing, and it turned out to be a faulty relay.

    @San Augustine I’ll get some pics uploaded…just refinishing the last of my Lotus brand wheels on the S4 to their original color, and a few other bits.

    @San Augustinethanks for the detailed post about the wheels. I find it interesting that the wheels on the gpsevens car have a triangular relief where your wheels have a trapezoid shape which is what I have. I’m also running the Pirelli 185/13 tires on my S4. Great wheels!

    @Davemk1 I’ve used the Sprint Classic in 15” for one of my cars. I liked the drivability of the tire and didn’t mind the vintage look.

    I agree with @Marek, KTR is a great shop. I’ve used them in the past. They are busy, especially during race season.

    I can’t wait to see the documentation you have, and I’m certainly willing to be a caretaker of the originals since my car is a 1600 BDR. Sorry to hear winter has appeared early.

    I finished the polishing a few months ago and it still looks great. I want to get it a bit nicer, then think annual touch up as needed. i always keep it covered so i think that helps as well
