  1. Pickup occupant was okay.
  2. The word I got was that the F-150 driver was engaging in adult-beverage abuse.
  3. To all, I’m posting this for 4MARIO (his forum user name on this site), a friend and fellow Stalker owner, in order to post a few photos with this post. On Saturday Nov 9th, 4MARIO had a major accident involving his Stalker (chassis #142) and a Ford F150 pickup. The pickup ran a red light and 4MARIO impacted the Ford in the right side at 50 MPH flipping the truck over onto its side. Except for some temporary soreness, and a few stitches to the right hand of his passenger (braced himself for impact using the RH mirror support), both 4MARIO and his friend walked away from the accident without any serious injuries; both were wearing their 5-point harnesses. :blueangel: When the Police and EMS personnel arrived, they were amazed to see both of these guys out of the car, up and walking around. 4MARIO’s message (his words) to all is this: 1) WEAR ALL YOUR BELTS AT ALL TIMES (hopefully you have 5 point harness) 2) SCOTT MINEHART BUILDS ONE HELLUVA STRONG FRAME (ALL the structural welds were intact in spite of a very hard hit) I (4MARIO) was Chief Engineer for Vehicle Safety at Chrysler when they introduced airbags as standard equipment. I've seen hundreds of crash films. Belts are super important to prevent the secondary collision of occupants into whatever is in front of a moving crash victim. These days we presume that we'll be OK in most crashes because airbags yield miraculous protections. However, the belts in our kit cars are the primary occupant safety device. Please use them ALL. I tip my hat to Scott Minehart. I urge you to be careful out there. thx 4MARIO
  4. Congrats, bigdog . . . back to 'The Ring'?
  5. Obama care; the very term is an oxymoron.
  6. Did this car used to belong to John .... in the Dallas area?
  7. I used these on the rear of my Birkin: http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/product/mk2-housing---ultrabright-led/ Here is what they looked like: http://www.texasmotorworks7.com/2012-Birkin-Super-Seven-S-3-Arlington-Texas-76012/3371978 Worked Well.
  8. Could be oil seeping past a worn valve stem seal. Just a thought.
  9. Wings Aviation, Welcome aboard! Awesome ride. :seeya:
  10. Yes . . . and your point is . . . ?
  11. :iagree: . . . . . NOT! :jester:
  12. Oscar, If it's front fenders you are wanting for an ultralite, contact WestTexasS2K on this forum (aka Loren Edwards, owner of WCM at (325) 650-7049). X
  13. Mike, Welcome to the madness of 7-mania! :willy_nilly: :ack:  X
  14. car-part.com. Good web site. Over the years, I've found several parts (including engines and transmissions) using this site. X
  15. Oil pressure; maybe picking up power for the gauge via the tach contact. Just a Stab.
  16. Vinnie, Have you simply tried contacting Emerald? X
  17. With Automoda in this one; the Stslker is the only 'sevenisque' type I know of produced in the lower 48.
  18. Need some Ultralite guys to chime in on this one.
  19. My 'old' (relative term) Birkin was the first SC car produced by TMW and now belongs to one of the members on this forum. He purchased the car from TMW with a bad engine. If I remember from PM's, the water injection was suspect for the engine failure. Here is/was the old listing for that car: http://www.texasmotorworks7.com/2012-Birkin-Super-Seven-S-3-Arlington-Texas-76012/3371978 I believe this car to possibly be the second SC car by TMW. The photos are indeed pre-SC. Here is the TMW link for the car (complete with pre-SC pics): http://www.texasmotorworks7.com/1967-Birkin-s-3-Super-Seven-Super-Charged-Arlington-Texas-76012/4273884
  20. Looks like mockup/shipment to me also. My guess is that what looks to be two different size spacers (mounted with the steering rack hein joint) may be necessary for the 'track day' suspension change (inverting the uprights) in order to allow for steering geometry to remain as is. Again, just a guess; I may be way off base here. X
  21. Paul, Good point on springs. I'm currently running Gaz shocks with 300 lb rear and 600 lb front spring rates with excellent results. The original springs that came with the kit were (IMHO) too soft, and the Gaz shocks are of much better quality and offer superior performance over the Avo's, again MHO.
  22. Tom, Sounds like the tail light issue may have been 'saving grace' for what could have been a more serious fuel leak issue. :blueangel:
  23. Cobra, Congratulations on your taking the Se7en plunge and welcome aboard! As for shipping, I've used these guys twice and no issues: http://autotransport123.com/
  24. Great advise, Dale. Ditto on learning the car first and then dialing it in to your liking with changes and such. Panhard setup works well in these cars. And thanks for the kind comment. During my last track day in Sept, I let Lance Adams drive my car during the last session of the day. Lance was my instructor earlier this year during my first track day. After driving my car he told me he would not change a single thing about it. Lance is now seriously considering replacing his Z06 with a Stalker.
  25. Contact Glen or Scott via the numbers I provided in the previous post. Either of these guys can get you access to the Stalker forum.
