  1. Martin, Have you tried advertising on the locost USA forum? X
  2. Well, I always wondered WHAT type of vehicle it would take to make a seven 'look' BIG . . . another seven. Now I'm thinking . . . Hayabusa!
  3. :grouphug: Kum ba ya, my friend, kum ba ya . . . Wow, I don't know about all you guys, but I feel so at peace right now. :blueangel: Okay, on a more SERIOUS note, Si (aka, Simon Cowell or . . .), WELCOME TO SEVEN OWNERSHIP!!!!!
  4. Welcome to the club! Enjoy! :seeya:
  5. You pull the trigger on this car?

  9. Anybody know this car?
  10. I like the simplicity.
  11. Don, Welcome aboard! :seeya:
  12. It has great seats It says Caterham on the side The gauge cluster is way cool I'd have the only one in El Dorado, AR Other than that . . . :deadhorse:
  13. Blarting gets my vote. It rolls off the tongue much smoother that flatting. Maybe we could use flatting to define high speed cornering. Okay, who blarted? :leaving: :svengo: :ack:
  14. Sorry about the trickery; not intentional. :sadangel: For what it's worth, here are a couple of shots of my car from another perspective, but I don't think it's really what you're looking for. In the first vid, skip ahead to 3:40. In the second, skip to 2:28.
  15. blat (blt) v. blat·ted, blat·ting, blats v.tr. 1. To utter without thinking; blurt. 2. To sound or produce harshly or raucously: trombones blatting out a tune. v.intr. 1. To cry, especially like a sheep; bleat. 2. To make a harsh or raucous noise. Don't feel too bad . . . I had to look it up. I think the last one is us; loud, harsh, in-your-face driving. :cuss:  :driving:
  16. Great shots! The White Sands looks more like snow.
  17. Quick, Robin, to the Bat Cave!!!
  18. I can relate. It seems the only time I get my car out is for a test hop. At least I usually take my son or daughter with me.
  19. Oh sure, go ahead . . . laugh . . . I told you I got faster toward the end of the day. :smilielol5::bs::smilielol5:
  20. Well, Saturday at MSR Cresson went well. It was by far my best track day thus far. I ended up sharing the track with some very respectable (and very expensive) cars from the likes of Ferrari and McLaren (I have to admit, I did a little drooling over the McLaren). And . . . I finally got some video with descent engine sound, no more wind or music (hopefully). I was able to hook up with Lance Adams who was my instructor earlier this year during my first event with Apex and he and I ended up spending most of the day on-track together just for fun. Lance drove my car during the last session of the day and, well, I think he wants a Seven now. The following videos are from the day. The first video is the shortest and combines a few select outtakes from sessions 1 and 3. In the session 4 video, I was first out of the starting grid and pretty much enjoyed a mostly open track for the entire session. In the session 5 video, I was late coming off the starting grid. Near the end of the session, the Avons on the rear were starting to get a little slippery. In the session 6 video, Lance is behind the wheel, his first experience driving a Seven. He took to it like a duck to water. Anyway, it was a fun day. My nine year old son even got a little track time with Lance in his Z06. As for me, I’m just excited to have engine noise in my vids. Sessions 1 and 3 Session 4 Session 5 Session 6
  21. FINALLY . . . :svengo:. . . I got some on-track video with acceptable engine sound (acceptable for me)! :hurray: I'll post the video in the Seven Videos section. :seeya:
  22. :hurray::iagree::hurray:
  23. He's thinking "that would be much easier (and faster) to drive to the neighbor's house for a piece of fresh pumpkin pie and coffee". :driving:
  24. Unless you're set on having a fitted cover, you could use anything that is easy on the paint. I use a fitted bed sheet when needed. :seeya:
  25. Problem resolved. Roger Kraus Racing admittedly sold my friend the WRONG compound for his application (honest mistake on their part). RKR cut him a great deal on a new set of A11 compound tires and he is going to sell the nearly-new A15's to someone in the autocross crowd. If anyone needs three nearly-new tires, I'll pass it on.
