  1. I think the Lucra LC470 was once the Beck Lister (produced by Chuck Beck) and then Lucra went and bought the rights to the car from Beck. Lots of mods since Lucra took the reigns.
  2. JeffC,Thanks for the post. I'll be sure and check the dB level on my text file. X

  8. Mike, Just finished looking through your build file on the Stalker Gallery! Beautiful build and excellent quality! Please post a link so others can view! :hurray::cheers: X
  9. wcmgoldie, I use a carpenters framing square to measure roll bar diameter (see picture). Place the framing square on the roll bar as shown. Measure the length read across the edge of the framing square where intersects the apex of the roll bar. Double this measurement and you have your diameter. Try these guys for aluminum roll bar clamps/mounts: http://www.colemanracing.com/Search.aspx?k=roll%20bar%20bracket X
  10. The Devil is indeed in the details; this is what seperates the men from the boys. Press on.

  14. You might asked Sharkey if he can help if you end up needing to leave the car before the sell. X :seeya:
  15. Sounds like you possibly have short. Check for chaffed wiring. One possible 'old school' way to check is to remove all the exterior turn signal bulbs and replace them one at a time. As each bulb is replaced, turn on the turn signal for that particular bulb. If the bulb illuminates and stays lit, then no chafing on that particular wire. Do this with each bulb until you find the one that blows the fuse (chafed wire). If this doesn't work, try replacing the flasher.

  17. The link I sent shows the deck height for the 2.0 as being: 216.92mm (8.540 in) And the deck height for the 2.3 as being: 227.92mm (8.973 in) An 11mm difference X
  18. I don't know actual dimensions, but I did learn from my previous Birkin ownership experience that the 2.3L Duratec is a bit taller than the 2.0L Duratec. The following link may provide some answers: http://duratec.wikispaces.com/Duratec_Engine_Specs X :seeya:
  19. Kitcat, Just to clarify, I'm not driving; not my car. The orange car from which the video was shot is a Stlaker with an L67 (supercfharged V6). I'm not sure of the HP. Before my own Stalker received its current LS6 powerplant, it had an L67 and made around 270hp at the crank. The yellow car leading the pack is a Stalker with an LS3 (previously owned by John Meyer). This car, at the time, was making 530hp at the crank. As for tires, I'm not sure what these guys were running in that day. HOTTTCAR on this forum could give you the specifics on the L67 Stalker as I think he built the car. As for the other cars on the track, a handful were Birkins, one a Lotus Super Seven S4, and another a WMC Ultralite; not sure what else. The video was shot during the Southwest Sevens Festival. To the best of my knowledge, it was a dedicated Seven event. X
  20. Several Sevens on the MSR Cresson 1.7 cw course.
  21. Anyone have results with a Replay XD1080? I have one and am happy with the video quality and the camera’s user-friendly features, but sound quality is an issue . . . yep, it pretty much sucks. I have the Replay lavalier mic and have tried several different locations with no good result; have not tried under-hood yet, but have considered this option. Willing to try another (better) mic with this camera, but not sure what will work. Guidance appreciated. X :willy_nilly:
  22. Great shot. It's poster time again. Needs to be hanging on the wall in large print. . . . Sorry about the rain
