  1. Bonjo2, Car looks great. I understand the fun factor vs the work-on-it factor. I have mine down for winter projects and wish I had waited a bit longer.:driving:
  2. My Stalker has 'unpainted' WCM aluminum fenders. I gave them a brushed look . . . and, no, I ain't gonna paint'em. And your car looks great the way it sits, fenders and all.
  3. . . . I ain't got the words.
  4. Steve, Nice car. Where was the previous location of the O2 sensor? As it stands, I'd say place it (the O2 sensor) in the top of the collector, just aft of the header.
  5. Congratulations!!!! And welcome to the club! I admire anyone who can 'scratch build' a seven. Great looking ride. Please forgive the color of the text (or just enjoy the humor), but you did say all the JD jokes had been used up. p.s. curious about those wheels????
  6. Bonjo2, Gallery #156 only has three pics . . . maybe #157? Some very nice pics in 157.
  7. Al, aka, burned-out-looking- bearded guy , Awesome job on the car and great writeup!
  8. Thanks, Z3. I just ran across your Walmart post. That's just too funny.
  9. Just ran across this post. Though I was going to wet my skivvies laughing so hard. I'm headed to WM for Kibbles.
  10. WCM fenders installed w/ Center Line 17" wheels: 4" backspacing both front and rear; 8x17 front; 9.5x17 rear. Tires are Nitto NT-01: 225/45-17 front; 255/40-17 rear.
  11. Anybody can play by the rules . . . but what fun is that? The driver with the biggest smile wins. :hurray:
  12. I thought about trimming the fenders, but probably will not. I'll more than likely use the additional length to tie into a rear diffuser.
  13. Centerline Racing: http://centerlinewheels.com/wheels_detail.php?mw_id=35&sw_id=462
  14. Dean G., No, you haven't been missing anything. These fenders (originally designed for the WCM Ultralite) are flush at the bottom of my car (forward of the tire) and truly do hang down below the rear quarter; larger, longer fender. All things considered, this was the best fitment I could come up with that served the purposes of both form and function. I’ll post a few more pics (side view) which shows the flush portion forward of the tire along with the overhang in the rear. Future plans call for adding a rear difusser to 'tie' it all together.
  15. I do like the idea of combining the classic look with the M-spec mechanics. Sounds like a home run to me.
  16. bonjo2, Thanks. Did Sharkey take you for a ride in this car when he owned it? And I would certainly like to see some pics of your LS3 Stalker if you wouldn't mind sharing.
  17. Contacted Loren Edwards in San Angelo and purchased a set of front and rear WCM Ultralite fenders for the 17” wheels and tires.
  18. The headlights kind of remind me of a P-51 with six 50 cals pointed right at you.
  19. What's the deal with 'no deal'?
  20. Would you consider selling the trailer seperately?
  21. What a bargain. Wish I'd been in a position to buy another car.
  22. I'm quite sure that 'old-school cool' blower will indeed affect your visibility; wind it up tight enough and it'll blur your vision. On a serious note, can you post pics of the trailer? Thanks.
  23. Good luck with the sale, but I still want the Brooklands for my car.
  24. Photos?
