  1. This could give new definition to the term 'stone cold'.
  2. Most excellent documentary! :hurray:
  3. Duane, Something else to consider—I researched spoilers, wings, etc. for several weeks before I made the purchase. I didn’t buy the Cosmo wing because I thought it was the best; I purchased it because it seemed to be the best fit and the best all-around component for what I was attempting to accomplish. The majority of my research went into the location of the wing’s mounting points and the distance between the mounting points (where the wing bolts to the uprights, i.e., support brackets supplied with the wing). In short, I wanted mounting points as close as possible to the spreader bars on my roll cage so I could use the Coleman Racing and Longacre hardware accordingly. You can purchase straight from Cosmo, but their eBay deals are usually much better. Here’s a link to their web site: http://www.cosmoracing.com/productlist.asp?cid=47 Shane
  4. Duane, The Coleman Racing brackets which hold the wing and support rods (Longacre) are roll bar mounted. Unbolt these brackets from the roll bar and the whole assembly can be easily removed. The wing was an ebay score from Cosmo Racing out of Canada. I have a similar front wing (also Cosmo) that isn't mounted yet. I have to come up with mounting for the front wing that is easily removable because my nose and hood are one unit and flip forward on a hinge. I've been doing several winter projects on the car and the front wing is last on the list. Shane
  5. :drool::drool: $$$$$$$$$ :svengo:
  6. Here's what I did. http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=20677
  7. Dale, Good to hear form you. I'll try and make the OK meet, but can't promise (family outings during summer). However, I am planning on making the Ambush this year; my first. I've been pretty busy with winter projects of #85, but I'm on the down hill run after tonight and should be on the road in another couple of weeks.
  8. Is this Dale with chassis #4?
  9. Mbearden, I think we have talked before. At the time' I was having an Isotope green Birkin built down in Texas; that didn't turn out so well. This past summer, I repurchased the Stalker I once owned.
  10. Way past ready. Been itching to drive, but have been down for most of the winter for various projects. Still not done; pulling the engine and tranny tomorrow for a trans swap . . . then finish the wiring, seat belts, etc., etc., blah, blah, blah. :nopity:
  11. Ouch . . . I think I just got slammed by another Stalker owner. BTW, I really like what you've done with #11. Hope to see it at the Ambush this year.
  12. Are there any other sevens in Arkansas?
  13. Won't stay together for more than one wash.
  14. I remember some of the 'post' High & Mighty cars built and raced by the Ramchargers.
  15. Ummmm . . . pretty much.
  16. A Yugo! :smash:
  17. My father once told me, "Once a man, twice a child". We all 'zero out' at some point. In early November of last year, he suffered—and survived—a heart attack. It was a reality check for me. On the day after Thanksgiving, he and I were out in his garage wrenching on his 39 Chevy gasser (I did most of the wrenching, but it was the bonding experience that counted). Later that day, we went to the airport and did some flying with a mutual friend. I can allow myself to be sad (and at times, I am) that his health is slowly waning and that our days together are truly numbered . . . or I can just smile, thank God for another memory, and ask him to pass me the 7/16” socket. Here's to my father, to fighting off the dreaded zero, and to living life to the fullest. Here's a photo of my dad and my daughter taken that day.
  18. Yep . . . I spoke too soon.
  19. Somebody has too much time on their hands, yet here I sit, typing this.
  20. Play ground . . . sewage disposal . . . now that's funny.
  21. sporqster Hold out for the right money; deffinitely worth more than 4K. The world is full of people who want something for nothing; I've dealt with them and I've been one of them. The right buyer will show up. Grab a popcorn and coke and watch the show. :lurk:
  22. If Ford and Lotus teamed up, could this be the all new . . . EUFORA??? :grouphug:
