  1. With powderbrake on this one.
  2. 530hp...perhaps. 800 torque...no. At the flywheel, my mildly modded LS6 (347cid) makes right at 500hp and 500 torque. Crate engine versions of the LS3 currently available. LS3 stock: 430 HP @ 5900 RPM, 424 ft. lbs. of torque @ 4600 RPM LS376/480: 480 HP @ 5750 RPM, 475 ft. lbs. of torque @ 4500 RPM LS376/525: 525 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 489 lb.-ft. at 4,400 rpm
  3. For now, the link takes you to a Ferrari article. You'll have to scroll to the end of this link to view the Stalker article:http://www.thedrivenart.com/archives.html
  4. Too much power is nearly enough.
  5. Cones...there are those that have, and those that will. :conehead:
  6. Skip, All those cars, and I'm not there to help you srive them…that's wrong on so many levels.
  7. A revisit...how it actually works.
  8. That makes imperfect sense....I think. :willy_nilly:
  9. Went outside to check the weather rock only to discover it had drowned and washed away. :jester:
  10. Where does this rank? :ack:
  11. Hey, if my car isn't ready, rumor is that there are a couple of really strandup guys in the NE with more Cats than they can possibly drive at once. Maybe someone will take pitty on me. :jester:
  12. It’s good to see enthusiasts keeping the older cars alive, well and on the road. I’m hoping to have #85 back in the wind next year.
  13. Teb, be careful...Dundee will take you up on your proposal. :jester:
  14. sevenup, as a Stalker owner, I must ask, what # chassis do you have?
  15. How was my last splat? Well, let me see...four broken vertebrae, one twisted chassis, a brand-new-at-the-time-and-made-just-for-me turtle shell back brace (five months sporting that beauty) and . . . . Wait…you said blat, not splat . . . . . Sorry. :banghead:
  16. 700hp and a 'no 5th gear' run....so that's what it took to catch and pass you. :jester: . . . . . More, please. . . . . . :lurk:
  17. Dang it, Joe! And just when we were all enjoying bitching and moaning about your having left the price out.
  18. Well, did the seller provide the price, or no?
  19. I feel like I've done this before. It's nice to have a neighbor who also owns a machine shop.
  20. Mike, Plans call for powder coat. However, I could leave the beast 'in the raw' and do a rat rod Storker.
  21. Watch it, Dundee...I resemble that remark. :toetap05:
  22. traveler, you won't hijack this thread...it (thanks to Croc) always defaults back to fleabay and craig's. As for how to become a paid club member (no, I'm not one...nothing for sale) send a pm to slngshot (admin). He can direct you.
  23. Mike, I think you're a bit late on that one. :willy_nilly: On the early Stalkers (such as mine), the V6 cars used a--at the time--late model V6 Camaro five speed tranny. The shifter housing exited beneath, and mostly forward of, the center dash panel that butted up to the trans tunnel which, in turn, gave rise to builders coming up with various solutions (see photos below) such as remote shifters, remote linkages, shifter mods, etc. The car in the add has a shifter handle mod (perhaps self-built or a 5.0 Mustang unit such a Steeda, etc.).
