  1. Suave would never have it. :jester:
  2. Brit, The family and I just left Galveston this morning (back in AR). Yesterday, I spotted a red Slingshot on The Strand.
  3. Not for much longer!
  4. That's dirt cheap for the Storker; well sorted with history…if I hadn't already built a new chassis (and if other changes weren't on the horizon), I'd jump on that as a second Storker. I don't expect that car to be on the market very long.
  5. Showed up on fleabay.....anybody familiar with . . . . ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Replica-Kit-Makes-Lotus-7-/311397911973?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4880c30da5&item=311397911973
  6. Mcmaster-Carr may also be an option. Once you open the link below, click on Gas-Spring End Fittings and Brackets: http://www.mcmaster.com/#ball-studs
  7. inchoate, Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase.
  8. Busa, It's called a ball stud. Two choices from Pegasus Racing: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=10150 https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=11451
  9. I'll do that. And not so much further that, if given the opportunity in the future, that I would not be willing to make the drive. Besides, Tom has raised the bar with CO, so I have no excuse. :jester:
  10. Ditto. A necessary evil if have u-joints with Zerk fittings that require periodic greasing.
  11. Al, I would have to say 'yes'. I never trailered my Stroker to an event for the primary purpose of protecting it. I trailered it in case I had to do exactly what I did with it back in Feb.....trailer it home after an accident. Now.....since that accident totaled the Storker, and because the car was (still is) sporting lots of Texas dirt for the return trip to AR, does that make the car 'dirty trailer trash'? :jester:
  12. :lurk: . . . . . . :jester:
  13. . . . . in the Houston area?
  14. Mike, Great write up on the track layout. Tried sharing all this with Suavé, but he quickly let loose a couple of expletives and then shouted something about not being able to attend this year as he ran off to another room so he could pout.…he really misses you. :jester:
  15. Shared this with Suavé........he gave me 'the wing'.....Rude! :jester:
  16. Good heavens, man! Entirely too domestic! Everybody's talking about drinking merlot, and you want to throw in a can of Schlitz?...boulderdash! :jester:
  17. Feffman started a thread in General Sevens Discussion about an interesting 7. Seems Folis has added some serious aero to his already wicked Birkin. And since there is a video to view, thought I'd throw up the photo and video here.
  18. Mike, you beat me to the punch. I'm thinking 'Finding Newmo'. :jester:
  19. Ah…..the art of living vicariously. Suave sends his love.
  20. Photos and updates, please, for us non-attendees..............:lurk:
  21. So, consensus seems to be that Panoz and Ferrari had a sleepover, or maybe it was a threesome….can we throw Austin-Healey in the mix and call it the P3-AIV Bugged-eyed Sprint? And, will Monster Miata shoehorn in an LSx?
  22. That's Folis Jones and his wicked little Birkin. Thanks for sharing.
  23. A few more photos of 'The Phoenix' Storker rebirth. Scott did an exemplary job of finishing the chassis to my specs. Parts I've purchased from Scott are, of course, the chassis, headers with 1 7/8" primaries, upper and lower a-arms complete with new bushings, Gaz adjustable shocks (aluminum) complete with new springs front and rear and a custom Coleman Racing steering rack. Not sure what that is sitting in the background in a couple of the photos.
  24. Kevin, (locost duplicate post) I trust all is going well. When I have something odd to ship, I make my own box....you could do the same with the wings, etc. On another note, call and let's catch up. Shane
