  1. Here are a couple of leads for the pulley (90mm): http://www.autozone.com/external-engine/idler-pulley/duralast-idler-pulley/634076/ http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/dayco-no-slack-idler-pulley-89012/3911322-P I don't have the part numbers handy, but if I recall (been a few years), the alternator was a mini 70amp from NAPA (Geo Metro?); see photos below of my atlernator and pully that I took jsut after purchase. As for the belt/s, look at the photo below to see my belt routing. An easy way to determine what size/s you need is to trace the route across the pulleys with a string and then measure the lenth of string.
  2. Cunn5, Welcome to the forum. Beautiful car! It's good to see another Ultralite join the ranks.
  3. Awesome!!!
  4. Okay, as promised, I'm reporting back regarding using Whiffle balls as a possible baffle in your fuel tank. After soaking in gasoline for an excess of seven months, I took one of the Whiffle balls out today and compared it to another identical Whiffle ball that had not been soaking in petrol. I was quite surprised at what I discovered. The fuel-soaked Whiffle ball had grown approximately 1/16” in diameter beyond its original size. In addition, the ball was much softer than the non-soaked ball and had become somewhat brittle (see the squeeze test photos). My consensus; no Whiffle ball baffle recommendation from me or Suave.
  5. These guys may have the bell housing you need: http://www.partshotlines.com/component/phl/search/
  6. LemonsRacer, A few links to my build site that should prove helpful: Bell housing swap: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=8480 Alternator tension pulley bracket mod: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=6293 Blower pulley bracket mod: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=8449 Alternator bracket and belts: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=8906 if you browse through my build files, you find other useful info regarding the L67. And welcome to the forum.
  7. Suave is livid.....he's motling uncontrollably . . . . . . . :toetap05: On the other hand, I wonder if sheets are available in a black and white checkerboard pattern? :jester:
  8. Sorry, Paul. But then again, I do hang out with a stuffed storke named Suave . . . . Shirley, you can't be serious? :smilielol5:
  9. Mike, I know that . . . . But do you really think I could attend and NOT drive? Need a buggy. :jester:
  10. Mike, Awesome photos! Wish I could have been there this year. Next year, perhaps, if the Storker is back together.
  11. In the photo, it looks like carbon fiber.
  12. Mike, Try shopping these. Even if nothing is readily available, I would consider a bespoke unit. Several years ago, a buddy of mine had the clutch assembly let go in his 57 corvette at 9K during a 1/4 mile run; it scattered shrapnel all through the tunnel and footwell. Luckily, he walked away unhurt, but he never ran again without protection. You can't put a price on your health. http://americanpowertrain.com/p-29455-bellhousings-bell-adapters.html http://lakewoodindustries.com/drivetrain/bellhousings.html http://www.deist.com/bell-housing-blanket-p-99.html
  13. Here in the south, moms call it day care. Mike, I didn't know you liked girls! :smilielol5:
  14. Yes, bock'o, it was an o deer moment…of which I now have the fawn-dest of memories . . . . Is that groaning I here? :jester:
  15. I don't know, but I dropped my iPad three times trying to check out that really cool looking roll bar. :jester:
  16. Well, it has been confirmed…I was wr, wr, wr, mistaken . . . . . . The babes indeed DO have a mama. Seems she's been hiding out in the woods and has been blatantly allowing here new born children to roam the neighborhood unchaperoned. I mean WTH is up with that? :toetap05: Skip, love the pool side photo shoot. :jester:
  17. coffee, mama is truly gone. The babes have been spotted around the neighborhood too many times without her.
  18. :smilielol5: . . . . . . . 'Tis true, Mike. Well said.
  19. Mike, I think something has happened to mama as she's not around…they seem to be on their own. Mama was probably horribly butchered for her meet and hide by one of those meat eating, bird hating, Australian track junky monkeys from waaaay up in the northeast somewhere......Suave made me say all that. :jester:
  20. You guys are cruel! Did your mamas never take you to see Bambi when you were young'ns? :jester:
  21. . . . . What a day will bring. My wife took this photo yesterday. These little guys found shade underneath my kids' swing set.
  22. Kitcat, That track is for the guys that really know how to drive . . . . . . Or maybe it's for those that really know how to crash. :willy_nilly::jester:
