Just chiming in. I am one of the ones holding off on registration as we are awaiting removal of our daughter's picc line. As for now, still pushing ahead with our plans of making NJMP. As I type, wife and daughter are in Little Rock for a followup visit with thhe doc; hopefully, there will be more good news and a tentative date for her picc line removal. :cheers:

I prefer 'cold'; less chance of burning yourself. Metals expand with heat; less chance of galling threads if cold. I've never installed a set of plugs (regardless of manufacturer) without first applying anti-seize; would especially recommend if installing in aluminum or aluminium :jester: heads. My two cents. :cheers:

Onken, Great video! Ditto on capturing the drifting Porsche; very cool indeed. I just purchased my first Hans ever. I figured it was past time if I'm going to run my car on a track at the edge of my limitations. Purchased a Sport II 20 degree large which weighs a bit more than the Pro model, but less than the Sport. And it costs a little more than half the money of the Pro. When I first started shopping Hans units, I had to get past the sticker shock. I fully understand that track days in general are expensive and that we have to sometimes prioritize expenditures; at least I have to. However, you can get into a helmet/Hans combo for around a grand (Hans Sport II and G-Force helmet for example). You're driving a hi performance car in a hi performance environment. Your life is worth much more than a grand. Can you afford not to use a Hans? I consider the Hans, and arm restraints, as two of the best safety devices I've invested in. Again, great video and thanks for sharing.

Mike, what happened at about 14:40 on the Anglesey video? Looks like no damage or car contact as both are gone on the next lap.

The video opening references the engine having forged internals and a 10.5:1 CR. I don't know what the stock CR is for a Duratec, but it doesn't sound like it was lowered any for the SC install.
