  1. Purchased through RPM Trailer (dealer). Built by InTech: http://www.rpmtrailersales.com/ http://www.intechtrailers.com/tag-car-hauler-trailer.php
  2. That requires a shade tree, a hammock and a bottle opener.
  3. Just chiming in. I am one of the ones holding off on registration as we are awaiting removal of our daughter's picc line. As for now, still pushing ahead with our plans of making NJMP. As I type, wife and daughter are in Little Rock for a followup visit with thhe doc; hopefully, there will be more good news and a tentative date for her picc line removal.
  4. Thanks, guys, for the comments, feedback and considerations concerning tongue weight. As you all know, this will be a brand spanking new learning experience (curve) for me. :ack: :banghead: I'll report back on this thread after some trial and hopefully 'no' error towing.
  5. Well . . . . Fruition. The trailer arrived this evening.
  6. Trailer is officially here. :hurray: A couple of quick photos: http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?p=86070#post86070
  7. :smilielol5: . . . . . That's great!
  8. Mike, My trailer should be in hand by this evening; en-route to my location as I type. Feel free to farm out my reserved space at the Garage Mahal. Just a thought; Mario is trailering his Storker on an open trailer and I'm not sure what his plans are. He might be a possible candidate.
  9. LOL!! Yes, indeed. . . . . .
  10. That thing's even smaller than I thought, or Sylvester needs to go on a diet. :jester:
  11. I was headed back to El Dorado last week after a quick trip down to Houston. On the way back, we were presented with this cumulonimbus cloud topped by a layered lenticular formation. Thought I'd share. . . . . .
  12. . . . to a theater of operation somewhere near you . . . or in the distant northeast. On track at NJMP! 4th o' July weekend spectacular! It's . . . . . . . . :conehead:
  13. LOL! Sorry, Roman. I missed this one.
  14. I prefer 'cold'; less chance of burning yourself. Metals expand with heat; less chance of galling threads if cold. I've never installed a set of plugs (regardless of manufacturer) without first applying anti-seize; would especially recommend if installing in aluminum or aluminium :jester: heads. My two cents.
  15. Surprised it hasn't sold already at that price. Somebody will get a very nice car at a most excellent price.
  16. Onken, Great video! Ditto on capturing the drifting Porsche; very cool indeed. I just purchased my first Hans ever. I figured it was past time if I'm going to run my car on a track at the edge of my limitations. Purchased a Sport II 20 degree large which weighs a bit more than the Pro model, but less than the Sport. And it costs a little more than half the money of the Pro. When I first started shopping Hans units, I had to get past the sticker shock. I fully understand that track days in general are expensive and that we have to sometimes prioritize expenditures; at least I have to. However, you can get into a helmet/Hans combo for around a grand (Hans Sport II and G-Force helmet for example). You're driving a hi performance car in a hi performance environment. Your life is worth much more than a grand. Can you afford not to use a Hans? I consider the Hans, and arm restraints, as two of the best safety devices I've invested in. Again, great video and thanks for sharing.
  17. Mike, what happened at about 14:40 on the Anglesey video? Looks like no damage or car contact as both are gone on the next lap.
  18. Well . . . . more drool . . . there goes another laptop. :svengo: Great vids, Mike. Especially Anglesey; what an awesome track!
  19. Awesome, Paul! Simply awesome! More photos, please.
  20. The video opening references the engine having forged internals and a 10.5:1 CR. I don't know what the stock CR is for a Duratec, but it doesn't sound like it was lowered any for the SC install.

    Timely

What with Croc's recent adventure at Anglesey, the current discussion of superrcharged Sevens and Dan's awesome Westfield build, this video seems timely: . . . . .
  22. Has to be one of the best (if not the best) Seven photos I've ever seen.
  23. Well, the wife just walked in and poured water on me. Seems I had passed out from automotive awe. And now I need a new computer from all the drool seeping into the keyboard. Great shots, Mike! Thanks for sharing. . . .
  24. Mike, My trailer should be arriving next Wednesday, June 11. If this pans out (at this point, no reason it shouldn't) then I will have secure storage and can give up my spot that you have so graciously offered. I'll confirm as soon as it arrives. . . . .
  25. Jeff, A few months ago, I was searching through Cresson vids and ran across this. I think it is your car on track back when John (original owner) had the car. . . . .
