The eBay listing claims the 217rwhp is equal to 290hp at the crank. That's a parasitic loss of around 26% which seems a bit extreme. I’ve always used 15% as a good middle-of-the-road rule of thumb. 15% would give the engine a rating of 255hp at the crank. That would put the engine much closer to Caterhams USA's original 260hp estimate.

What about an evening shot (post track sessions) with all cars gathered around the start line. Take the shot from the flag station if the structure is high enough. Or maybe NJMP has a bucket truck handy.
