2008 Toyota Land Cruiser just turned 352,000 miles this week and a 2020 Land Rover Defender. I kept the Land Cruiser because of the Land Rover's reliability reputation.
The Caterham brake switch is a POS. You can take it apart, clean the plunger and repeat the same exercise again down the road. When the spring pops out and you will be searching all over the place trying to find it. Spend $ 10 at Summit Racing or Autozone and forget about it.

I (we) currently have a Caterham Zetec (his), a Caterham SVT (her), and a Caterham R300 Durtec (ours). Each one is a fantastic driver with a different experience. I (we) have no favorite because they all put a smile on my (our) faces.
I know this Caterham. The gentleman who built the car is a mechanical engineer and an airplane pilot. The SVT engine is a crated motor. It has the unique JPE yellow gauges. I have driven this car many times and it is an extremely well built and maintained. I would not hesitate to have this car in my garage except it already has three Caterham.
